I was thinking that too. He really has such a special gift, that by time he’s driven home with a new pup he already has a very good idea of their nature and what they can handle right then in terms of pack introduction. Of course it’s easy to identify a dog that’s terrified etc, but he seems to read or intuit all the small nuances.
I couldn't agree with you more,I just love how the dogs come out of thier shell and they are thriving so good, I don't like to have favorites but I can't help it I fell with the Akita right away, she had a broken pelvis she had to be in so much pain and she still let Lee pick her up and carry her, she trusted him from the very beginning and to see her now running around with the pack and looking back to see Lee she is really a special dog and I fell in love with rain, the only way I could tell she was deaf is the way she can get in the other dogs faces some times that can be a problem for a family who wanted to adopt her if they have other dogs, because they don't like another dog being in thier faces, but Lee understands her and knows how to read her,I only know a little bit about deaf dogs because I fostered a few of them, they didn't do good with thier meet and greets with other dogs just because they would get straight up into thier other dogs faces , and I couldn't stand the thought of a deaf dog being in a shelter,it must be scary for a deaf or blind dog to be in a shelter,I have a 6 foot high privacy fence put up and I have a pool and agility set up in my yard for my personal dogs and I have my personal dogs in dog activities,it feels so good to see rain walking around now poor baby chewed on her paws out of anxiety, she is looking better and better with each video that Lee shares with us , she probably bites other men because she was abused by them and she was probably dumped off by one too,so to see her trust Lee and bond with him like she has its so beautiful to witness,who could ever hurt and neglect and abandonment and abuse all those poor dogs,if it wasn't for Lee and his staff I would hate to see where all these dogs would have ended up,alot of them have health issues and yet he took them on any how getting them thier best vet care possible I know that has to get costly,I don't know how he does it all ,I have 3 dog's of my own and it gets expensive,do you know if we can mail in parcel packages do you know if Lee Asher has a wish list that we can order from, I think he has a heart of gold to do everything he does
I can't get over how Rain is always by your side. I really really like Dalmations and the fact she was just disgarded and left in the rain....I mean she is an attractive breed. It blows my mind that this happens not just to dogs with a handicap or are too old or sick but to sweet innocent puppers like her as well. I guess Evil doesn't discriminate.
You have no idea how much your videos mean to me. I live with my two Pups and much prefer them over living with Humans..... I think you're a beautiful and genuine Being. And I live how real you are, all the time. My dream is to have a "retirement home" for senior dogs, that no one wants or that cannot handle end of life. I'm a former Nurse and Writer. Outside of my family (I'm a real mama bear), I would spend time with any animal over humans! Maybe not a venomous snake, but most other ones. And definitely my dog! I know exactly where you're coming from. I even have a t-shirt which says "I want to be where people aren't". I wore it for a hospital visit last summer, and on my way back to my car, a lady (not in uniform but undoubtedly one who works there; she was looking seriously frazzled, poor lamb) caught sight of me and said, "Me too!" I told her where to get the shirt lol. (Qwertee, in Ireland. They sell abroad. Good value and often hilarious messages on them! Pithy one-liners a writer would appreciate.) I write too, so we have even more in common. 😊 All the best!

It is NOT all sunshine and roses, it is full of heartbreak, hard work, and often times, the feeling of defeat when you find a situation you know DESPERATELY needs intervention, but a (or many) person won't let you, for whatever reason - usually selfish, sometimes because they are connected and want their satisfaction met, more than the pet- but still selfishness. I must admit that when I first started watching these videos on RUclips, I felt some anxiety seeing a new dog placed in a pack of dogs, afraid that the new dog might try to attack one of the pack. But I have seen what for me is almost a miraculous meshing of the new dog into the pack. I am amazed at how accepting your pack is, and they almost seem to me to be a source of healing to a newly rescued dog. It is truly a beautiful thing to see. You're right to do it the way you do it. Keeping them apart is never helpful. I have a "pack" of cats, and every time I've introduced a new baby, I only keep them separated through one of those gates where they can all see, smell, touch, and interact with each other for a few hours and then I open the little gate and I've NEVER EVER had a problem.
As they say dogs pick up on how you are feeling and your mood. You are always so relaxed and lowkey and calm. You know how to make them feel loved and secure. For you, it's a given! You've got this 🤗💚💛💜🧡

You're right to do it the way you do it. Keeping them apart is never helpful. I have a "pack" of cats, and every time I've introduced a new baby, I only keep them separated through one of those gates where they can all see, smell, touch, and interact with each other for a few hours and then I open the little gate and I've NEVER EVER had a problem.
As they say dogs pick up on how you are feeling and your mood. You are always so relaxed and lowkey and calm. You know how to make them feel loved and secure. For you, it's a given! You've got this 🤗💚💛💜🧡
