We are Facebook friends, I do not know what time you did this drive but did anyone hail the bus to stop? LOL Also, I can hear loud and clear that body frame sound effect (Oooo) when accelaration and decelaration only New Flyers have. Awsome, buy and enjoy Mister !!
+South Florida Transitfan hey buddy, yeah a lot of people get up and get ready to board.. even thought there are no Short LF buses in Albuquerque, and on top of that my destination sign wasent working, not to mention the color of my bus is not like the buses that run here lol...
Rejean Rivard the FMCSA requires you to have a commercial drivers license, with a passengers endorsement, to operate a "bus" that holds more then 15 passengers...
my dream bus would take the best qualities of the gm fish bowl paticually the stainless steel air craft skin and build a custom ikaris 286 with better weilded together the the orionginal ikaris 286 and cumming pancak 14 leter engine
Also, its been a dream of mine to have my very own D40LF. Ive seen D40s and D60s go for a few hundred to a thousand dollars if you buy 20yr old Translink (Vancouver) buses. What did this one cost ya?
Rejean Rivard I got this 35 diesel bus for 10000, but the person who actually won the public auction a few years ago paid like 4000-6000 for it, it has 200k miles on a rebuilt, I plan for it to last a long time
+Rejean Rivard Translink sells for $9000... 20 years old. They were advertised here in Seattle for some reason, I guess because they're cheap ($9000 CAD is like 6450 USD), might be a good bus for a church or something at that price
Oh im Canadian from Toronto. I can already drive a bus as long it doesn't have more than 7 passenger seats. That's how it works in Ontario. But yeah still, for sure when I have the money.
Rejean Rivard Translink would actually be the best bet as BC uses a chemical on the roads when they ice over, rather than salt. The chemical doesn't rust cars which means a Translink bus would be much safer than a rusted out TTC.
The dog is having the most fun :) Nice bus.
+Jimmy Duncan yes that is my Over The Road Dogg he loves riding around
That dog is quite adorable :D
+Shaun TV haha thanks

It's legal to drive a transit bus around town as a personal vehicle? O_o That's magical.
+Howling Harp yes, in the us you can drive any street legal vehicle, except where state or local law prohibit it.
BusTV Chan 😱 Oh my god imagine the possibilities!

When you bought the bus, did it not meet the emission standards of the state? Also, was the bus from a "Dealer Only" auction?

You have to have a city bus license in Ontario, Canada to drive a bus. Do you need one or did you just buy it? :D
Rejean Rivard the FMCSA requires you to have a commercial drivers license, with a passengers endorsement, to operate a "bus" that holds more then 15 passengers...
you need a class 2 and air brakes
Oh, here you can have a G if there are no more than 8 seats, or a B if it has more than 8, and a BC if you drive commercial.
my dream bus would take the best qualities of the gm fish bowl paticually the stainless steel air craft skin and build a custom ikaris 286 with better weilded together the the orionginal ikaris 286 and cumming pancak 14 leter engine
captianjessie1 the gillig hybrid is the one I want. it's gonna cost alot. hybrid vehicles are more than ordinary gas vehicles

this bus is forsale but it dosent start and it has an issue with the air compresser
there is no electricity coming in not sure if battarys are dead but thats why it wont start
@@BusTVChan It got scrapped right? Such a shame. I liked the unit.
www.bustvchan.com
My license plate on my bus will say this: 7XDX969
Not the smartest idea my friend
Probably shouldn't tell people your license plate
do you still have this bus?
+Ok Boi no this bus was scrapped
How much would it be for a Excelsior
Its gunna be hard because there are not many retired excelsior buses yet, and a brand new one is alot of money
