I have been doing the empty brush along the edges for a year or so now after doing it to diffuse a blush over application one morning. I love the effect! What a fun video idea
Will you do a more in-depth video on the bronzer as color corrector? Id like to see the foundation and concealer you use and how little it takes to cover.
My favourite setting spray is CT Airbrush Flawless and keeps my makeup all day as if I just applied. Good tips. I’ve been doing that eyeliner base of lash and am still trying it. First couple of times were not great. I’ll keep at it. 😊
I will watch the video later but I already am very happy about it, as I am over 40 now as well. Unfortunatly I feel more like a teenager at the moment as my hormones go crazy after quitting the pill.
@@PamperedWolf it's only 5 month now. My system still has to adapt to the new normal after 20 years of synthetic hormones 🙈 I hope my skin will normalize in a few month.
I will def. use some of the tips. I just made a rehearse bridal makeup today and her skin is a bit problematic with makeup. I will try the setting spray first on her 😊 Oh an I def. love and use the Lisa Eldridge method, its wonderful.
I love Lisa Eldridge. I've picked up loads of tips from her over the yrs. I do that thing you did with the eyeshadow. I figured out I needed to keep raising where I put the shadow as I got older lol. Emma x
I tried the under eye hack. Used my Saie lightest bronzer. My undereyes look great. I can’t believe it. Been using CT undereye corrector. I prefer the method you showed. Thanks ❤😊
Eyeshadow application went very good 👍😋 I also have a tip. I use the viral asian beauty judydoll mascara as a base to fixate my lashes in the upswing position. they go absolutöy nowhere all day and I can apply any mascara on top. With the thin metal barrel I van go very very close to the lashline too. Only con is the removal. you need an asian mascara remover to get it off. otherwise it holds forever ❤
Thank you thank you thank you for sharing the bronzer under eye. I washed my face right after watching & had to try 😮😁I just turned 50 & have been FOREVER trying tips & tricks that were drying & cakey. I don’t wear a lot of makeup & only started buying new products because my daughter’s wedding is coming up lol. I really need to stop watching the young girls on RUclips cause although they look beautiful, it’s just not right for a 50 yr old 😊😉
Have you tried any in store makeup experiences such as Charlotte Tilbury, Laura Mercier, Chanel, Sephora or others? Some charge and you can get the cost off any product on the day. I'd love to see someone's experience of this in the UK.
You need to book a makeup session in advance. The price of the products you buy will pay for that makeup session. I know Mac and Charlotte Tilbury offer that service, I'm sure other brands do too.
Love your videos, they are just right as far as content and time. I quit watching a few others because….. for the love of God can you reduce all the chatting just a little? I stick with you Gemma ❤👼🏻♥️
These tips have nothing to do with people over 40 specifically… it is general for everybody. Not that it is bad, but I expected something specific for the over 40 issues
LOVE your necklace. Could you share information on it please?
Beside that, I love the lifting eye shadow techniques!
I've been doing the liner tip. Ppl think I have false lashes when I do it and I'm nearer your mums age!
By far, the best instruction for makeup for over 40 I have seen. Thank you so much!!
@@KM-kb8st that’s so kind of you, thank you xxx
Thank you for making this cohesive video…I would’ve never found all this on my own.
yes like the lifted eye shadow better
Great tips Gemma thank you. Will definitely be giving some of them a try ❤

Did you use the saei cream bronzer and which shade thanks
Saie Light Bronze. It’s not dark. I think I could have gotten the next shade up. But super easy to blend.

Love your videos. Just curious though - why don’t you do time stamps?
❤❤❤
It makes using videos as a reference to look back on nearly impossible without a timestamp.
