Bird flu (avian influenza) has significant ties to China, as it has been a source of several outbreaks, including the H5N1 and H7N9 strains, which have caused numerous human infections and fatalities since the early 2000s . The Chinese poultry industry has been particularly affected, and efforts to control and prevent the spread of avian influenza have been ongoing.
Thanks for this, but two comments: dairy cows, not poultry as mentioned, is the main way people are getting bird flu (at least in the US and Australia), and the first symptom is pink eye, which wasn't mentioned at all. Pink eye could be seen as a trigger for testing.
People quickly forget that US through Victoria Nuland, had set up 46 biolabs in Ukraine. Russians have collected all the crucial information and closed those labs.
