    Came out great! They sure don't make modern toy cars with that level of detail. Thanks for leaving all the bloopers in the video. It makes it more realistic. Things don't always go as smooth as some make you believe!!

      Thank you. I always try to show it as it is, it discourages people from getting into the hobby if you paint a false picture of no problem smooth sailing always going right, I think so anyway.

    A beautiful classic die-cast model. 3D printing technology helps take care of the details. Congratulations 👍💪

    Outstanding restoration, Peter ,the steering mechanism is a bit fiddly. You're not alone getting it upside down 😂, it's all part of the fun ,excellent 3d printed back light holders ,welldone on the fund raising that's amazing. All the best Martin 👍

  • @frasermartin6728

    Nice job, Pete - looks very elegant. I think the 'horns' on the bumper were actually fog-lamps rather than horns: the model is probably based on the Mulliner car of 1958, so the horns would have been inboard, behind the small intakes flanking the main grille. An anorak point, no doubt, but I don't get out enough, as I may have said before! Great idea with the tea strainer thing in the ultrasonic - I am forever losing stuff! Your chrome came up a treat.

    • @PBsRetroRestorations
      @PBsRetroRestorations  3 месяца назад

      Thank you and you're absolutely right about them being spotlights, I don't know why I ever thought they'd be horns. And it's not an anorak point to me. I wish I could claim the tea strainer idea, but that was actually supplied with the machine! I did think it was just a tea strainer though.

    Don’t be so hard on yourself…
    I watch your channel on an 80” huge screen TV….
    I could see that you were having trouble with the front wheels,
    I was laughing a little, just a little…cause I could see the problem you were having…upside down…
    Awesome recreation, love the paint job as well.

I'm truly glad you got a laugh out of it for whatever reason, I think that's my favourite kind of feedback.
