For some strange reason Nene & Ai never respected Shabani. Maybe they mistake Shabani's playfulness as weak and/or goofy.

🤭 Ooh Annie! 8:17, 8:45 Princess 👑 🩰 girly are you bothering your grandmother with a game of tag, you're it? 🤷 Well chasing after Shabani, Kiyo and Annie does keep Nene nimble, and agile. She can still run and climb fairly well for her advanced age, although she said that she'd rather be at the spa getting a massage, and sipping on some 🥂 champagne 😁.

Annie in my humble opinion,,,, just wanted to be expected by Nene (grandma) buttttttt Nene didn’t want Annie in the troop. Annie being a sweet little baby would see Nene feeding Kiyo holding him and Annie would get picked on and hurt by Nene. Shabani is really the only one that kept Nene from seriously hurting Annie. I watched a video last night where Kiyo was at the milk bar and Ai was playing with Annie so Annie tried to latch on to the milk bar and Ai freaked out. All I could do was cry 😭 Nene is the reason Ai didn’t want any of her babies I’m sorry but that’s the way I feel.. Nene is not in my top 10 beloved gorillas but I would never want anything to happen to her.. Nene is one of ultimate favorite primate the GORILLA”S.

I agree 100%. The truth is that some of these older females should be moved to a retirement group, where they don't have to live in fear of the others. But at the same time, so the others can go on with their lives without them slowing down progress.
I get you! I watch videos of Nene playing with the rope and gently touching Ai and I try to imagine Ai as a baby,holding on to her mom. It’s as if Nene has never wanted Ai to grow up. Always be her little girl. Nene is a force of nature and Annie is a force of nature! I always get really sad when I see the gorillas watching the people behind the thick glass. I wish they could be free but that will never happen. This is their small world. Each member is all they know until one is moved to another zoo to join a bachelor group or to be apart of a new troop.🥲🌷

Well, Just remember, if not for Nene, Annie wouldn't be there-they have that kind of history, but I've seen them tolerate each other too. And someone's canines are in Nene's back -did she deserve that also? She's 52 years old, and the alpha female. I respect her.

Nénen is a trouble making spent and kicking, biting and push Annie when she was defenseless as a baby and if wasn’t for Shabani Annie would be hurt a lot lots of times so why you you don’t have any sympathy for Annie that as a baby could be killed by Nene? And besides Nene is not a calm grandma gorilla as she is most of time undermining Shabani ‘s authority, fighting to defend her son , when he needs correction bringing Ai with her and consequently bring problems to the troop . And just because she’s older doesn’t mean she shouldn’t undermine the whole troop!
Annie is a good girl lovable and happy most the time , playing with people, kissing etc but why she should forget about Nene kicking, biting, pushing her etc when she was a defenless little baby and Nene did that to her? She could have get some bad injuries and I would not forget nene just because she is older. What kind of standards are there?’

I believe you're right, she knows Nene doesn't have the strength she once had, and is poking fun...but it irks me to hear people encourage it. Nene has gone through a lot and raised 2 fine offspring. I guess some people just wanna hate for their own reasons.
What goes around comes around.... I've never seen Annie hurt Nene, i have seen Nene hurt Annie. All Annie is doing is being mischievous and annoying. When the roles were reversed Nene tried to kill Annie. So too bad, Nene can just put up with Annie poking fun at her.@@TheFlashyWeasel
@@TheFlashyWeasel Annie is teasing her, not attempting to hurt her. We've all seen those clips of her attacking Annie when she was a baby. That wasn't playful. Most of us see that.
