I was one of them ❤ Hardstyle is known in the Netherlands since the early 00's. It was born with the help of Q-Dance events like "Qlubtempo" at Hemkade Zaandam as a crossover genre between hard trance, hard house, techno and hardcore (early hardstyle). It began to grow and around 2006 the melodic 'nu-style' came up (with pitch-kicks and less use of the reverse bass), which was the beginning of the modern hardstyle genre.

Back when I was working out, I would start my early morning and workout routine with this. U get enough time to properly wake up till the first drop, then its all a breeze. Parents would hate those type of mornings though :D
