there's something about hardstyle from the 2000's and the early to mid 2010's that is magical ... - these unique crunchy distortions, these long intros and fades, the well made melodies, those dark vocals, punchy kicks with a nice heavy attack - today's hardstyle is too cheesy and with cringey vocals many times - none of the magic in oldschool hardstyle is present in today's hardstyle :(
I completely agree it’s not even close but I’m finding it hard to find all the old stuff I used to listen to from the same period any suggestions
All the new stuff sounds the same. Cheaply made and rushed.
Today's raw is a disgrace to hardstyle, it's generic and all about fake drops and there are 10 kicks in a 2 minute interval 😢😭
Listened to this music since i was about 15…im 32 and still going strong and this is still my favorite melody of all!

-if there's life out there, it's absurdly likely that they don't get beyond the fermi paradox or in simpler terms; ever will be able to bridge the immense distance between stars/galaxies
