I found bts because of Jin and stayed with them because of him. while exploring their group songs it left me so frustrated how little lines he gets. His voice is my favourite even after 2 years of exploring their discography and solo era. He always manages to make his line stand out and complete the song. And obviously I'm not coming from a technical pov but a casual listener's. The emotions his voice evokes is unmatched 💖

Oh I love this man so much. He was really quiet and felt fragile in the early vlogs before their debut but at one point he made an incredibly conscious decision to be the mood maker in the group. I think it was one of the Festa dinners where they all talked about his shift coming when he found his hand kiss and the WWH, I really think acting that way had an impact on his confidence. I love his interactions with every one of the guys, he's just so sweet and goofy and a ball of love! And his voice? Pffff forget about it, he's incredible. Listen to the compilations of the other guys trying to sing his songs and you realize gaddang! Dis boy can SING! He's no slouch of a dancer either 💜

I always say all members are so precious. No one is less. all worked so so so hard to give us the best of them. And What a beautiful soul JIN is. he extremely loves the armys. And always write and sing for us. In his song "I'll be there" he even says "I swear that I will always sing for you"
Jin is just as talented as the rest of the group. He works just as hard, and has a beautiful voice. I don't know where the theory that says otherwise came from. Jin is an inseparable member of BTS just like the rest.

I agree. If a reaction will be made, please use fan made video. It shows the official video at the start and shifts to the fan cam towards the end which was able to capture Jin’s iconic triple high notes.

Moon is my favorite song from Jin,the lyrics are lovely. For him to think of ARMY that way is not unusual for BTS. Abyss is also another emotional song by him. I’m always OT7 but Jin is my bias since day 1. I think people get confused by his goofiness, like you can’t be goofy and super talented at the same time? Or just because Jin is goofy and makes dad jokes he can’t be taken seriously?
Anyhow I don’t care, I see Jin’s light and aura since the beginning. He is so SMART, INTELLIGENT, WISE beyond belief. He’s also so SECURE deep down (I know everyone has insecurities and Jin sings about them) but deep inside Jin is such a secure person he doesn’t care so he is being 100% himself. That’s why he can be WWH and does super tuna at the same time because both sides are himself.
You can’t rank the members. They each bring something so unique to the table. BTS wouldn’t be the same without any one of them. But one quality that people haven’t talked about enough or people may not get how Jin is so special, it’s his authenticity and sincerity. He’s handsome af but at the same time silly af, he’s an amazing singer but he also has a self-deprecating humour or he simply loves his members so much that he would say things like he’s not as good as them. But those talks are not meant to be taken seriously. This is just Jin. He puts it all on the plate for you and whatever he serves you is always HONEST. With that personality or inner fabric, he creates beautiful art, which is why his solo songs are always so emotional and heartfelt because it’s all real. The secret ingredient is real emotions but you gotta have that depth as a person first and Jin has that but not everyone sees it just because he is goofy.
P.S. what I mean by “secure” is that Jin is so secure In himself he doesn’t feel the need to brag about his talents. But in this crazy shallow world, just because someone doesn’t brag about it, they would think you haven’t got it. They mistake being humble as being not confident. But Jin is our humble KING 👑 .

Yes! I think different interpretations are interesting insights into how lyrics can be read, but the original intention had always been about this difficult and honest aspect.
I wish boracity had included a mention on that theme at least, even if they read it differently. It is a thoughtful review of Jin's music otherwise

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. This was my 1st watch. Somehow i missed this drop. So fascinating. Loved the video. So happy u got to learn a little more about Jin. It was very traumatic for army the whole enlistment thing. Many of us had never experienced something like this before. So we had to learn and grow. Until the last 5 comeback to us safe and sound in June 2025 we will not take a breath of relief. Shoot. I pray for their health and safety daily. Borahae. -NY USA 2019 Army💟
I think of him as the George Harrison of the Beatles. Never flashy, but when he made All Things Must Pass, I realized I had underestimated his talent. It may have been because I was young and was in love with John Lennon, but I never really paid much attention to him. In fact, for me, his "after the Beatles" time was the best of any of the others.

I know a lot of people recommend Boracity's more controversial topics videos, but she has AMAZING essay on BTS's music. This video made me love Jin so much more when I was baby ARMY and still learning. One of my personal favorites is "RM: The multiple colors of INDIGO" and since this month is the 2nd anniversary of INDIGO it could be a good one to watch (but you should prob listen to the entire project before).
Frankie, I honestly don't believe that ARMY, true ARMY (not the solo stans that love certain BTS members but drag other members), are the ones that say such crap about him ... or any other member, for that matter!

Although I am confused as to how much attention is needed. He's loved by millions. Who cares if JK and Jimin get the most awards 🤷🏼♀️ There is usually only one winner. That's life. If Jin got more awards someone would make a video about how JK isn't appreciated.
Anyways! Love Happy! Love most of Jin's work. (If one is to be the most fair; J-Hope gets the least recognition in award shows and streams. And his albums are Fantastic!!)
Most BTS songs and videos include extensive use of symbolism. That is why i love the bookish theory channel explanations. I am still waiting for her to break down V's new MV. 12:47 I wonder if you're mixing up what happened to JHope early on where anti's trended hashtags against him, etc. For Jin, like with RM, he has been teased by both members and Armys about his dancing, but I don't recall anything more than that. I think what many Army's might point out is how he can be overlooked at times, especially in the past, etc...but rather in a supportive way by bringing attention to him.
Probably, but I have seen comments in some of my videos saying he was the 'least' talented in the vocal line. Probably solo stans, but they are nuts...

@@frankiebiggz It's the abbreviation for K-netizens which mean korean internet citizens. Basically people on the internet.
The problem is that in Korea they are even more vicious when it comes to cancel culture and (online)bullying.
And many Kpop fandoms adopted this "culture" into their fandom mindset and actions.
People say he is the weakest since Jin has always been given the least lines in BTS songs which for me is unfair. I have seen a number of reactors admitting that they have slept on him or didn’t notice him much because he didn’t have much parts in songs. Thankfully he has his solo songs where he showed his vocal prowess. These people then realize that he is very talented. Sorry to say that the agency did him wrong in this regard.
The members have addressed this over and over and over. They make decisions on line disruption based on the needs of the song. It is a decision they all agree on.
@@LinCee-jj2lxRight boracity even mentions this in one of her videos "solos are antis" I believe. I find it sad that some people choose to treat and see the members as chess pieces to be moved around by their company or the "fans".
