I would love to see you write songs like this and then break it down by going over the thought process, the scales you used, how you incorporate things like tapping, how you got the tone, etc. You’ve done similar videos in the past, but not as something that incorporates the whole process.
It’s really hard to sound original in this genre, especially if you’re a bigger fan of the 2000s version. But you managed to do it and in the signature tuning of Drop C 🤘🏻

Metalcore and post hardcore are my two favotire genres of metal. They have a great balance of melody, technique, heaviness, singing and screams, and often meaningful lyrics too.
Would love to see a revival. For all those who don’t care for core; that’s cool, but don’t try to shit on people who do enjoy it. It wouldn’t be popular if there weren’t people who enjoyed it 😉
