Oh Gabrielle! you and your colours ;)
carbon and three-point linkage are synonymous with extreme attention to quality 👍
Amazing vehicles.
Congratulations. :)
Very good video! Regards from Venezuela
Amazing !! Carbon Fiber make the structure even stronger ! No need reinforcements inside, the stuff is tough!
Amazing
forget that fancy roof trap door and the small skylight - add another two solar panels and make the cooker a glass ceramic hob.
😁👍👍👍!
Ballpark price? ($450k?) How do you work around the heat transfer of the carbon fiber? Does the electrical conductivity have any downside in real life?
Nice... how much?
cost
By the way carbon fiber in this case is not made as usual. this technology com from naval leasure boats.
The vacum system allows you to make beautifull forms using two half mould and of course you will be stronguess.
AND ? We are of course waiting the 3D Printer able to make carbon sandwich. I Think we don't have to wait so long.
Look on this tube for a cell (yellow) mounted on a Landrover AMAZING ! Kind regards from France.
Dial here; Carbon vacum system. Infusion you will see the method.
Kind regards from France..
Hello Patrick,
the UNICAT CL36 carbon fiber body was made with vacuum infusion technology to get the maximum percentage of carbon fibers with a minimum of epoxy resin. We did that project to learn about that technology for the future.
It s still a very expensive way of saving weight, for now, we decided not to offer this model but we can build bodies in vacuum infusion technology if someone is ready to pay for it.
double the lithium to 800ah, induction cooktop, lpg free vehicle
At least double the batteries, and upgrade to lithium. Though I would want an outside propane grill, but you could use much smaller propane tanks for that.
No need that much, 400ah is well enough, Inductions are consuming 1800~2000 W.
Yes, I am interested in one of these. How much does it cost? Thank you for sharing....
price seems to be very high and secret )
please ... can i know the price ?
I think the price is between 120.000$ and 180.000$.
No, far more than that...
Double the between figure.
Just mentioning carbon fiber and we are talking a million bucks and up.
Si unicat makes carbon fibre but still heavier than others without carbon fibre... quite tragic...
it's a relatively new trend in business - selling overpriced offroad RVs to retired couples. RVs that have nothing extra inside that can cost up to $500k. Iveco daily 4x4 Chasis costs from 60,000 Euro in Europe, as you can see there is no fancy furniture inside of the van, everything is cheap. I believe that sleeping area (without truck) costs somewhere around 30-40k Euro plus a truck and in total, we have 90-100 grans MAX for the whole rig
Please build some at that price and you will sell them quickly... oh wait maybe you just don't know nothing John Snow ! 🤣
@@whynot1because2 would you buy it for 100-120k euro?
@@CantPickTheNameIwant There's plenty of companies that make them cheaper. Bimobil and the like. But they make only the box and stick it onto a truck.
Unicat and Helgeth rebuild the entire truck if you want. Regular shocks instead of leaf springs, extended fuel tanks, water tanks (both heated), encapsulated drive shafts, central tire inflation systems... These things can go almost anywhere, and if you have it built on a supped up Unimog, literally anywhere. They are built to be practical and safe in any conditions on the planet, be it 5000m above sea level or thousand kilometers from the nearest desert town.
Is 1-2M Dollars a lot of money? You bet. But it's obvious why it costs so much.
This tiny thing looks more like a proof of concept than anything, though.
The price of the vehicle is around and sometimes over 100k depending in the country and taxes... 60k was 10years ago
wtf
Zombie apocalypse truck
If thats what travelling does to ones hair, i'll stay home.
No Tom..... that's the crazy love making while traveling in an expedition vehicle & note how happy the man is. With the UNICAT he would be the happiest man alive living a long & happy life. The sky light is the best feature for those who want to glaze at the stars.

Great camper, pitty it's on an unreliable iveco.
