  • A lovely tune by Bluegrass maestro Tim O’Brien from the album Two Journeys. This song is about the WIllie Clancy Summer School and how every year thousands of traditional music fans from around the world descend into the small village of Miltown Malby on the west coast of Clare. One of my favourite places to be, this song always gets me in the Miltown mood. Originally recorded with fiddle and voice, I figured it would sit nicely on the pipes.
Enjoy, and please like, subscribe, comment, share, I really appreciate it.

Very nice. Set sounds fantastic. The pictures of Martin Reilly are my favorite of all the old pipers & that recording Pat Mitchell fixed up of his playing is amazing.

Yea! That photo of him is so hauntingly beautiful. And the recording is great too. It’s amazing that his Egan set is still around today.

mate you are steady as a rock with both your chanter drones and regulators! as a highland piper that's impressive.
