I had this and still own a copy of FlatOut: Head on for PSP, just booted it up now after seeing the Wreckfest trailer and this game still feels so good! I hope the new soundtracks are good as well
I loved demolition derby raw, demolition racer, destruction derby arenas and driven to destruction and just bought this today now that I know this 360 someone gave me works. After all this is done I'll get a ps4 and wreckfest. Stuntman and driver had similar addictive qualities.
@@holymegadave i never had a single issue with gfwl, and ive been using it to play online ever since i bought the game many years ago. sadly the community is dead because no one knows how to install the latest version properly or create a xbox account, both easy things to do
@@zzrs its stupid DRM... no one needs that kind of stuff. You dont need games for windows live to have servers or to use multiplayer in PC. It serves no purpose in PC ecosystem. Those kind of shit make games unrecoverable when the servers that power that "extra layer" goes down. Thats really why no one play it. They know how to install that crap and how to create an account.. but no one wants to do that anymore. If i see a third party app or account required to play on my steam games i dont buy them. I have sufficient drm with steam alone to put another thing on top of that.

JeyVGaming honestly Flatout 2’s draw is its atmosphere its soundtrack was perfect for what Flatout is. I frankly played both. Flatout 2 in 2007 on my PS2 and UC more recently for Xbox 360 just to see the differences of the two since I still got my PS2 and frankly UC is better mechanics wise but its soundtrack imo doesnt fit the gameplay the way the soundtrack of Flatout 2 did.

For those thinking Flatout 2: Ultimate Carnage is better than Flatout 2 well no not really since it's the exact same game only with slight differences . - Better graphics HD ( the era were many games were remade in HD instead to make a complete new game it is just an easy lazy cash grab without doing any efforts ) . - More opponents instead of 8 now you have 12 - Other soundtracks which are badly chosen for such a game - The A.I. is slighty better but like in Flatout once you win all the races the A.I. magically drops and the game become suddenly easier , as you always win even without using the nitro boost . - Two new cars - Three new laps I agree Flatout 2 & FOUC is a great game but Flatout 1 is so much better in all aspects and is way more realistic such as Wreckfest . Flatout 2 i compare it as a Michael Bay racing game .

"Mostly of the players doesn't cares about multiplayer, so that is not a big problem." No, it extends the fun of the game, it have great singleplayer and great multiplayer. Not having LAN mode is awful for game preservation. IT IS a problem, a big one.

Like i already writed, mostly of the players at the time doesn't cares about multiplayer, the internet was not a great and cheap big thing in the world during 2007, LAN mode doesn't its related to game preservation because that its just a mode to play near to other PC, but you still can acess the world multiplayer with other people by select the same room. The big problem would be if the game never had a multiplayer mode.

This is because he chosen to "RACE" to win the game..........actually, the best way to get all the cars, and THEN race to win 1st place, is to destroy as many opponets as you can, no matter if you finish last, or also get destroyed......the prizes of the races are minimum compared to destroy a car, so you can win the same $$$ wining 2 prizes for MOST DESTROUCTION" and with that $$$ buy the best cars, and upgrade them to make them unbeatable.

For those thinking Flatout 2: Ultimate Carnage is better than Flatout 2 well no not really since it's the exact same game only with slight differences .
- Better graphics HD ( the era were many games were remade in HD instead to make a complete new game it is just an easy lazy cash grab without doing any efforts ) .
- More opponents instead of 8 now you have 12
- Other soundtracks which are badly chosen for such a game
- The A.I. is slighty better but like in Flatout once you win all the races the A.I. magically drops and the game become suddenly easier , as you always win even without using the nitro boost .
- Two new cars
- Three new laps
I agree Flatout 2 & FOUC is a great game but Flatout 1 is so much better in all aspects and is way more realistic such as Wreckfest . Flatout 2 i compare it as a Michael Bay racing game .
I prefer Flatout 2 by different car classes and better sound effects.

Because its a "remaster" of Flatout 2 with more cars, improved graphics and others things.

@@CommanderTato The songs are not downgraded because they added new ones, that is about you taste, you can't put you opinion was a "cientific fact". Like i already writed, mostly of the players at the time doesn't cares about multiplayer, the internet was not a great and cheap big thing in the world during 2007, LAN mode doesn't its related to game preservation because that its just a mode to play near to other PC, but you still can acess the world multiplayer with other people by select the same room. The big problem would be if the game never had a multiplayer mode.

Its racing game, not action movie. If you want to see more action forward to derby or stunts.
This is because he chosen to "RACE" to win the game..........actually, the best way to get all the cars, and THEN race to win 1st place, is to destroy as many opponets as you can, no matter if you finish last, or also get destroyed......the prizes of the races are minimum compared to destroy a car, so you can win the same $$$ wining 2 prizes for MOST DESTROUCTION" and with that $$$ buy the best cars, and upgrade them to make them unbeatable.
