At 6:16 Tom says I heard it is lack of love from the parents. Tom plz read the first 164 pages of AA- alcoholism is not caused from a lack of love- so many people do not know about what alcoholism is - please educate yourself and do not put the blame on the parents. It is a spiritual malady that can only be filled by God and a physical allergy that once the person takes the first drink is ignited. Thank you Liam for your experience strength and hope .

Thanks Colleen for ur comment but I do believe Tom was talking about his own personal experience of his own parents so it was just a misunderstanding of communication. And wasn't labelling that as the cause of people's addiction..hopefully someday we cud meet as we trudge the road to happy destiny...godbless
Although, the man I knew who struggled most was absolutely abused and then abandoned by his dad, and his mother withheld love because he wasn’t academic enough for her hopes. Other things were at play, but a parental void didn’t help.

@@MsDormy maybe but in confession its our lord through the priest who absolves your sins i know first hand when i leave confession a weight is lifted
Just watching this now im in Medjugorje liam and a lovely honest testimony you have giving i have met steven me and my brother this fella is the genuine artical he hugs us shakes our hands and ask how we our doing this man was a stranger to us on friday now we and the bro would say he is a friend such a loving soul this is our first trip here and and he has without a doubt he has showing us both what this place is about the joy in the rest of the group is unbelievable from sean & brenda smith patricia & mary but also another great guy who has looked after us spiritually is gary Daly we will defo never forget this holy experience and the love shown to us both is beautiful
