Great vid subbed, im late to this vid because i want to get the su 39, there are very few videos which actually show its use in ground RB most of them use it in air RB and say its a bad plane which made me to reconsider buying it, so do you recommend the su 39 for ground RB ?
They nerfed it recently be removing the KH29T FNF missiles. It's still good, but doesn't have a good counter for advanced radar SPAA. First clip in this video demonstrates the utility of the missile they just removed.
I know it's not related to the video but I wanted to ask your opinion about the new Strv 122, people on the forums and some CCs say it's much harder to kill compared to the 2A7 but with the armor analysis tool they seem to have the same weakspots and very similar armor profile in the front. Since you played both do you feel the Strv 122 is better in that regard?
Every outward surface of the B+ has more armor and the turret doesn't use the 2A7's updated geometry meaning the breach is less susceptible to spalling. If you have M829A1 or better you can go right through the armored upper front plate of the 2A7 as well which is an impossible shot on the B+.
Most of my deaths in it are from trying to use it in Gaijins awful mist planet setting where you can't see anything and can't react to incoming missiles. On a clear day or on storm/thundercloud you will do well. This thing has an absurd payload with two fnf for advanced spaa that are faster and more lethal than mavericks, enough vikhrs to kill an entire team, and 4 of the most advanced air to air missiles for self defense. Also, the rear ircm is absurd. If you see that a stinger, mistrial, or chaparral missile is on you just reduce thrust to 50%, pop a couple flares, and you're in the clear every single time.
@night7185 I'm not sure that the SMT is effective enough to warrant the constant 12.7 matches. I use this instead because my Russian lineup gets to club at 11.7-10.7
The people that you find on Reddit or in-game insinuating top tier (anything above 8.0 really) isn't fun are generally shit at the game. They are unwilling to improve beyond the same WWII vehicle that they've played for years, learn new positions, or learn advanced armor layouts. I have only played ever-evolving top-tier for years. While there are certainly times when it's not in a great state, I generally prefer it to any other battle rating.
@@Wogby Thank you for answering, i have a feeling that im gonna do decent at toptier even if i started playing ground a month ago, usually at the top of the team and i have a decent lineup when i get the m1a2 sep cuz of the f-16c i also have, i hope the stuff i learned in 10.0 can help me in 11.7, im still a noob tho at ground so i still need to improve abit but i guess that will come over time. also what country should i get after US since im almost finished with both air and ground. i just prefer to do one country at a time, im thinking about either germany, sweden, ussr. (germany mainly because of the 2a7 because my uncle works on them so im pretty biased towards them, or sweden because the strvs are cool, or ussr because its just a overall pretty good nation)
