Glad to see you again Wogby, and of course skilled as ever! I admittedly was a bit worried seeing this tank's gun and round when it was first announced like a lot of people, but it does seem like it's a pretty fair vehicle where it is atm - it gives you a more forgiving time with not hitting weakspots or going through some strong plates on tanks you might otherwise have to spend longer aiming at, but it pays for that with lots of soft stat losses. No coaxial MG, no ERA, longer reload, no thermals, and slightly iffier gun handling; none of them are dealbreakers individually but all put together it makes the tank a good sidegrade choice but not something that automatically wins every fight it gets into. Obviously with your capability of putting it into favourable situations though, it was never going to perform poorly!
I think it's a good tank where it's at. The sad reality is every Russian tank at this battle rating could already penetrate every surface on every tank they see with 3BM42, 46, and 60. So the extra penetration isn't much of a benefit. I've been playing it at 11.7 and unfortunately spall liners require multiple strikes to defeat as opposed to powerful and effective shot placement, so while it can penetrate Leopard upper front plates at range, it still needs 2-3 shots to kill.
ah, the same thang WG considers a glass cannon tanking way more than an Ariete with a way better cannon at 0.3 BR lower, sometimes the jokes write themselves
@@Wogby I just personally hope they fix at least the WAR armor kit that the C1 Ariete has so it will be good when the AMV pt2 comes out, it's a joke how they count a 5 tonns armor that is 6 times smaller than it's cousing the PSO still a 20mm spaced plate
It’s overpowered bc of its cannon. But in reality, it’s completely balanced. No thermals, no armor, no machine gun and its speed is meh between forward and reverse. Gun horizontal and vertical speeds are ass. It’s not the tank, it’s how the player uses it 😂 Edit: It quite literally cannot go up or down in br, MAYBE 10.3 but it’s supposed to be a fun gun type of tank so 10.0 is fine

I hadn't really thought about it that way, but you're correct. It's also much faster too.
