Wonderful gems of a composer died tragically too young. They're on my TODO list!

What a tragedy. Imagine what this 21 year old composer could've wrote if he lived longer

Thank you for introducing me to a composer I had never heard of. The preludes are so beautiful, and what wonderful variety. I will be listening to these preludes, and a lot more of Antonio Fragoso again.Best regards.

I DO THINK PORTUGAL IS THE ONLY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD TO HAVE SO MANY CLASSICAL COMPOSERS, I guess they knew each others and shared their music classical knowledge for PERFORMANCE and that they have been copied !

There is a site that gathers recordings of music by many less known Portuguese composers, including this one, here: sites.google.com/site/patrimoniomusical/contactos---contacts . Unfortunately this site is not referenced from www.mpmp.pt which somewhat hinders its visibility.

These preludes are amazing! Awful to hear that this composer died at such a young age. The last composer I looked into (Stanchinsky) had suffered a comparable fate...

You should have asked us if it was ok to "steal" the recording and to share it in your channel. It is ok, indeed, but please add some information about the origin of the recording: "Recorded by MPMP, Movimento Patrimonial pela Música Portuguesa / www.mpmp.pt / 2011".

@@Medtnaculuss - Don't apologize to these people, MPMP. They were very rude to you. Also, is any money from their recording going to Antonio Fragoso? No, he's been dead for over 100 years, they've stolen the music themselves.

Low, bottom music - in this "style" there is Poulenc novelette 3 or Schnitke piano prelude 1 as great music.
