New ideas and additions to yearly game franchises isn't inherently a bad thing. Gotta take risks to see if an idea will help improve the series moving forward. But when the game itself is generally dog water, it comes off as trying to patch-fix the issue with shiny new features rather than addressing the core problem, which is the gameplay itself.
But that's capitalism baby!

Zane, I hear you about Madden. I have not purchased the game for about 3 years. It never changes, more of the same. I stopped buying the NHL game since the AI is poor, and they never have fixed it. I play PGA Tour, which has excellent graphics. The game play can be a little iffy at times. Putting needs to be fixed. Putting is much better in 2k23. Take care.

I really wish they would get a team working on a new build from the ground up. Let them take 4 years while you still put out the yearly releases from the normal team. This should have been their plan for the next gen consoles.

Another issue is that on the PC side, you have to enable secure boot in order to play the game, and if you do that incorrectly, you can brick your motherboard.

Thank you for all you do…been watch since PGA 21, watched some of Madden videos last season (way to go Lions) but could see animations have taken over, no longer skill based (since 2012 think about it)
