When I got into film photography I asked around my family before buying a camera. Turns out my uncle had a Minolta maxxum 7000 sitting in a closet with expired film and a 50mm 1.7 lens. It was everything I needed to get started and now that he’s passed away it holds a special place and is something I could never get rid of

My favorite camera is the Olympus OM1 that I got as a graduation gift in 1976. I still have it and it works great! I have the 50mm f1.4, 50mm f3.5 Macro with extension tube for 1:1 Macro shots. Also I have the 100mm f2.8 for portraiture, a 28mm and 24mm f2.8 for landscapes and a 300 f4.5 I use for sports and whatever. SO MUCH FUN to use and the images are SHARP! I even use these lenses on my Sony A9 and the results are Fantastic!

My fave film camera is my favorite for sentimental reasons, as are some of your choices! My grandfather gave me his old Nikon F when I started shooting film my freshman year of college. I've recently started processing film rolls of his that have sat in a box undisturbed and undeveloped for nearly 55 years! It's amazing to see images he can't even remember taking and knowing that I now shoot with the same camera.

My favorite would have to be my Mamiya RB67. Is it big and heavy? Yes. Am I crazy for doing hikes with it in my left hand. Probably. But I love it because everywhere I take it, it forces me to slow down and enjoy my surroundings. The RB67 has caused me to not only change how I view photography but in turn also change how I view life.

I first used a Rolleicord tlr when I was 16 years old in 1961.
    I use a 1957 Yashica Mat now.
    Brighter viewfinder than the Rolleicords.
I love that Rolleiflex 66 with those Schneider lenses.

My favorite film-camera is the Canon A-1.
My dad gave it to me, after I got back into photography. The start of it all, was the Helios 44 lens I found on my grandpa's old camera. I used that on digital for a while, before getting the urge to shoot film. Now the A-1 with the helios are my absolute favorite setup, and I come back to them no matter what gear I try out.

love the video, quite a diverse range of favourites, I have Autism, and my favourite is the Linhof Technika series 4x5/5x7" cameras, they are compact, as they fold up for transport, have movements, a coupled rangefinder (cams under the focus track), an anatomical grip to hold them, and I love the back screen, is on a ring, so changing orientations is a snap, and the flip-out hoods are a great idea to save you if you forgot the focus cloth. one other thing it has a medieval crest/sheild style logo, and the history of all the models.

Nikon N80, my first film camera, I am still learning how to use it. When He passed away I helped to Sorted His massive collection to make it possible dir my Mom and her siblings to determine who gets what piece of the collection... Then a Few years later I got the Leica as a Birthday present for my 18th Birthday ... Not only from my mum, my uncles and my aunt, but from my grandpa .... Bronica ETRS 40, 75 and 150mm lenses.
    Canon AL-1 with 50mm f/1.4
And for point and shoot, I am testing the Minolta AFZ 35mm f/2.8 ( Ricoh GR3 comparison test at the moment)
But right now, today, if I could only use one, it would be the Canon AL-1.
A really underrated body that when coupled with the FD 50mm f/1.4 is for me a pleasure to use all day.
I wish you all well and great video.

mine's gotta be the Canon FTQL. It's the first camera i bought and its been woth me ever since. I shoot all of my creative work on it for 35mm and has had so many lenses paired with it. It feels like an extension of me now

I have two favorites: my Nikon FE and Rolleicord III. They both are beautiful machines with great engineering that feel good in the hands. The Nikon is my top right now because I know it well enough to consistently get great images. I'm still learning the Rolleicord and am getting 2-3 technically good images per 12 exposure roll. Great hobby!

So my favourite film camera of all time is my Leica M2 with the Voigtländer Color Skopar Pancake 35mm f2.5. Sold like one of my kidneys for it to a camera shop in berlin we all know. But it was definitely worth it!

It has to be the Olympus xa for me. So small yet capable of taking amazing pictures. I love that it’s a rangefinder camera with adjustable aperture in such a small body. I take it on every trip !

Hey Linus and Cinestill team. My favourite 35mm camera is the Canon F-1 with the 55mm f/1.2 lens. My favourite Med Format is the RB67 Pro SD with the 90mm f/3.5 K/L lens. My favourite penultimate b/w film stock is the BWxx. My favourite daylight is the 50D and finally my Canon EOS1V loves the 800T.

Awesome video. That custom camera and that Rollei 6x6 are beautiful. My favorite camera is my Leica R4. Given to me by my mentor and many rolls of BWXX have been run through it. Love the long throw on the 35 Summicron-R.

My first film experience was with a throw away point and shoot and soon after I bought the Yashica FX-3 Super at an online auction for cheap. Since then I got really into photography over the last couple years, and bought a Karl Zeiss lens for it which is very nice. After that some film cameras have come and go but my good old Yashica I will never let go❤️

My favorite would most likely be my Pentacon sixTL, I've had so much fun with that camera and the lenses are wonderful to use. Shooting 120 Cinestill 800T is always a pleasure on it.

That homemade TLR is nuts! Favorite get stuff done camera for me is the Nikon F3 but my every day carry is my Leica II with a collapsible Elmar 3.5. Love that thing.
