Rescue Mission is probably the best VR game I've ever played and Astro's Playroom the most fun I've had with a platformer in ages. It has a good track record.
Absolutely, the first tried I tried Astro with PSVR going into it for the first time not knowing at all what to expect I was absolutely blown away by it and pleasantly surprised!
Playing rescue mission I felt just like I felt as a kid playing Mario 64 for the first time, Astro’s playroom was just as charming so I can’t wait to play this!
Absolutely bud! I remember playing Astro VR for the first time and I was absolutely hooked, it gave me those N64 experiences completely reminding me of playing Mario 64 for the first time because it was the first time I experienced a game like that in VR that worked so incredibly well
As a lover of both playstation and Nintendo growing up through my life. i always wanted Playstation to give our boy Astro a full fledge chance of having his own game for so many years instead of the playstations tech demos. I was so happy to see when Astros first platformer got revealed with pure joy. I sure hope it sells well since I love Astro as much as i do Mario equally. That they will wanna explore other genres with Astro n the future.
Absolutely bud, every since I played Astro’s rescue mission in VR I knew it was something special that reminded me so much of Mario, since that day I have wanted a full game so badly, it’s a perfect fit for a PS mascot and with the tech demo as well being insanely fun and immersive with the functionality, I’m so happy there’s a proper big full game coming out!
Looks really good. Triple AAA 3d platformers are so rare and there is a customer base starving for the genre. I don't care if it is better or worse than mario, we just need more of them. I especially wish there was a more kiazo (hard) 3d platformer that is made by a Triple A studio, there is literally zero games in that market.
Astros Playroom is just a wonderful experience. Both in controls and gameplay. This next game looks like in absolute Masterpiece. I hope we get to know the side characters better like we do in the Mario series maybe even have future spin-offs.
Astro Bot is great, but it feels dumb to compared it to Mario and claim it’s better because the jump moves are what sets Mario apart (he is “Jumpman” after all) That said, I like both, and am happy PlayStation finally has not just their own 3D Mario-like but also an official mascot.
Both are equally excellent as maggots in their own way but I would love to see Nintendo give Mario some of that Astro Bot formula with other gaming icons in the game and even consoles with Nintendo’s rich history, the HD Rumble could have been perfect for Mario hopefully Switch 2 can do something insane with the controller with the haptics and vibrations like the PS5 controller does for Astro
I hope that the game will be open world and contain a world like Playroom. For me, what I see will be the level like the first part and not the second part Playroom.
I do think there will be a hub world kinda like Playroom in between levels, I think that is that Beach area we see in the trailer where all the characters hang out. As you go into different levels like Mario jumping into Paintings in 64 then I think in those levels they will be linear bug also these big open spaces to venture though
No. Astro's games are good but Mario has generations worth of classics, not mention thousands of merchandise and recognizable characters. Astro's main focus is on mostly Sony's past and showcasing how the controller works.
I completely agree bud, I absolutely adore Mario and he is my childhood, my favourite gaming character with generations of different games and unlike Astro who only has a few. Everyone knows who Mario is but not everyone will know who Astro is. I do really enjoy the Astro titles they are always so fun and an absolute delight to play, the only thing I prefer with Astro is the functionality of the controller and haptics that some what immerses you in his games a bout better because of those surprises and functions he controller gives you with its feedback within different parts of the game what I would absolutely love to see in Mario titles more often instead of just motion control bits. I’d love to see them utilise the HD Rumble properly that showcases in Mario’s games what it’s really capable of. Or whatever is potentially with the Switch 2
Its a good game but never as good as Mario! First it has to sell 30 million units (more than Odeyssey), there it has to be all genres with astro bot: Astro Kart, Astro Smash, Astro Golf, Astro Tennis... and the franchise needs to sell over 500 million games! Never gonna happen! I don't understand why it is called a "Mario Killer"? I just played it. Its good but never matches Marios difficulty or evergreen soundtrack. By the way: Mario is the reason for many people to call Nintendo "Kiddy". Can i call Playstation "Kiddy" as well? What would be if Astro Bot was for Switch? How many people would call it "Kiddy"? But for a Playstation it doesn't matter! What a sick deluded gaming society we live in!😂
I agree with you completely but what is better is the way I think PlayStation manages to immerse you into these worlds with Astro with the different functionality and features of the controller that always surprises you with it’s feedback and haptics in levels and area’s that I would absolutely love to see Nintendo implement more, with other big Nintendo cameos it’s always a surprise and delight feeling the different ways the haptics is being used with Astro. I’d absolutely love that with Mario instead of just the use of motion controls
@ElYeso I think Astro is much more then mediocre, he can be a perfect mascot for Sony if it’s done right. Plus going off the other games of Astro I think he is a really great character. Astro is definitely no Mario but he has the potential to be great competition for Mario if utilized right
I can see Astro Bot as Sony PlayStation's 3D Super Mario. Im going to pre order it
Me too
Same, I’d absolutely love it if PlayStation utilized Astro like Nintendo does with Mario.

Not better or worse, just a cool 3D platformer inspired by Mario for PlayStation owners. Why can't gamers just be happy for each other?
It not unhappiness, it's an opinion.
Not that serious

Astro's style is classic, unlike Mario, which has an open world and includes collection

Just as they took the idea of stopping time like Crash, why didn't they take the idea of gravity from Mario?
I personally love it. I like it more than mario but i dont know if i like more than odyssey
I agree, it’s a tough decision to make thats for sure! I have just put up my Review

Cópia de Mário na cara dura
No
somehow, yes

Selling more doesn't equate to quality
@@ॐIo No but nobody can say that Mario Games have no quality.
It's not better than Super Mario 💀

Astro bot bouta clap
As someone who plays Mario games and Astro bot rescue and playroom, I'd have to disagree
short answer: no
short answer is: nintendo fans are ridiculous
Astrobot is medicore at best.
The VR game is one of the absolute best platforms last generation, to bad most people can't afford to play it.
I absolutely loved Rescue Mission
The game hasn't been released, it was only announced and we have people calling it mediocre, lol
@ElYeso I think Astro is much more then mediocre, he can be a perfect mascot for Sony if it’s done right.

The reviews say otherwise
