- 25hp outboard and yamato combined circuit race in Australia. Zero clock start and three laps. The red boat in the footage has a 25hp Japan built Mercury sea pro (exactly the same as a tohasu-nissan 25-30hp). The propeller is a 10 by 18 worked and thinned mercury chopper. The boat is heavy compared to other 25hp hulls, weighing around 100kg with no motor or driver. The centre of the prop shaft is running inline with the running plank, still with standard water pick ups.
That is very cool I can’t believe the performance you get out those motors! Awsome
Were can i get this prop. Really like one that top out at 40 mph.
@jolichja Yeah, it is a highly modified 10 by 18 three blade chopper. The same prop (stock 25hp) has reached 96.1kph on a 11.5 foot tunnel hull which holds the current Australain speed record. The record is 92.3kph for a average speed 1 kilomiter up and 1 kilomiter back (windy day!). Thats scary in a boat that loves flipping.

Yeah, that was my first year of racing! and first race boat. Still had a lot to learn about driving and still do, just like any racer! Check out my other vidios of my new 25hp tunnel boat. That boat hammers!
Ps: We can never assume to know how to drive other peoples race boats, unless you have driven it! No boat drive the same.
@jolichja the boat reaches speeds of 87kph or 55mph. great fun!

sorry, but you cant drive. dont move your boddy so much !, just look inside on the feel
