Is it actually supposed to have a piano? I listened to another version and it didn’t have that

Feel free to include more details and a link to whichever version you're referring to. This was, of course, written for horn and orchestra, but a piano reduction--or .midi file thereof--has become a much more practical way for students to rehearse it. It's public-domain by now, so you can find a score on imslp and arrange it however you like. :)
