Vinod seems to be naturally athletic. I am quite surprised that he did so well. I remember my first skiing in New Hampshire, USA - I must have fallen so many times but it was such a fun day.

I hve lived in Canada all my life except for one year where I lived in Israel and I can honestly say that I have never skied in my life. So shame on me!. I was 16 years when I skied first time in Switzerland. I had to follow first Ski group lessons before going on ski slopes. 2nd time skiing when I was 17 years in Austria. Without my notice I had to participate Ski group competition. Very surprised I won 2nd Place had Silver Medal received from Ski teacher! After that never went back skiing. Skiing is much more fun and so fast then langlaufen! First time I Langlauft was in Belgian Ardennes that I did not like during school trip.

There’s is actually one indian athlete in this year’s olympics! Competing in alpine skiing 😊 so definitely they could do with a crosscountry skiing pro too like vinod 🤩 or maybe he’ll choose ice skating, which you can see in a future video too!

I’m not sure if it is weather related, but i think it is: she’s more cranky in the hot weather and doesnt sleep as well as she did in Finland 😞 however she also enjoys wearing less clothes now and is excited about all the green nature around us!
Are you sure that Vinod hadn't skied in his life before?? He looks too remarkable to be an absolute beginner!! He is not afraid of sliding at all, good job and Annika is so cute, she is about to walk and to talk properly, she is really adorable!! He hasn’t! But he’s of course naturally athletic and has lots of experience of sports that require a lot of balance and core control - like surfing, kiteboarding etc - so he can get the gist of it pretty quickly 😁

Hmm i dont know if the powder would be good for IBS especially if it’s that bad for you. I assume it’s more for regular indigestion and sluggish metabolism! I’ve had IBS and ayurveda helped to get rid of it. But this might help in controlling the symptoms. I just wanted to get rid of the whole IBS and self-medicating against it!
For the first time Vinod did a great job with the skiing , Annika looks Finnish but the cries are so Indian lol ….it must be quite a change to come back to India especially the weather change , nice clip , your mom is always such a good help
January weather wasn’t that bad actually! Felt very agreeable and i wasn’t dying in jeans and kurtis 😅 now it’s already starting to get hot though! But it was still quite a change, especially as it’s now difficult to go out with Annika during the day and she doesnt sleep as well as she did in the Finnish cold. But biggest change is that i just feel so lonely and overwhelmed 😩

The groomed trails were made for cross country skiing. it is somekind of tractor that makes the trails. There are 1kilometer. 3 km , 5 km , 10 km and so on trails. And yes ! Vinod learned quickly the system to ski even though he had very short skiis and sticks. 🤣 (Skiis were mummi's)

Hi Johanna, nice to see you and your family as always. I'm glad you're in a good mood at home and I also understand that you miss your family because you all had a fantastic time in Finland. Vinod was pretty amazing considering it was his first time skiing. I had tragic moments my 25-year-old nephew passed away unexpectedly and even my cousin passed away in Covid 19 two deaths within a week so it has been a shock to us all. We hope to get my mom and sister to India maybe this summer but it’s not the easiest thing to plan with covid and all. We wanted to get my mom here for a longer time but only 30-day visas are available even for family 😞

@@mirka there are no separate family visas, they have to get the regular tourist visas.. but tbh even EU/schengen is not family friendly if a part of your family is from a developing country. My husband only got a similar tourist visa for less than 40 days to visit Finland even though we applied for a 5-year visa for a spouse..

Well, skiing isn’t for everyone! I hated it as a kid when it was mandatory in school and didnt ski for several years after. But now i miss it a lot 😄👌

Were these groomed trails for cross country skiing. Vinod did well on these groomed trails. Even his herringbone technique was quite good
The groomed trails were made for cross country skiing. it is somekind of tractor that makes the trails. There are 1kilometer. 3 km , 5 km , 10 km and so on trails.
And yes ! Vinod learned quickly the system to ski even though he had very short skiis and sticks. 🤣

Hi Johanna, nice to see you and your family as always. I'm glad you're in a good mood at home and I also understand that you miss your family because you all had a fantastic time in Finland. Vinod was pretty amazing considering it was his first time skiing. I had tragic moments my 25-year-old nephew passed away unexpectedly and even my cousin passed away in Covid 19 two deaths within a week so it has been a shock to us all. But I'm back now. thank you for sharing your happy time in Finland💕💕💕💕

We hope to get my mom and sister to India maybe this summer but it’s not the easiest thing to plan with covid and all. We wanted to get my mom here for a longer time but only 30-day visas are available even for family 😞

@@JohannaNorth 30 days visas for family ? what a family unfriendly country 😯Australia, which is very strict about immigration, gives 12 month visas for Family Visit.
@@mirka there are no separate family visas, they have to get the regular tourist visas.. but tbh even EU/schengen is not family friendly if a part of your family is from a developing country. My husband only got a similar tourist visa for less than 40 days to visit Finland even though we applied for a 5-year visa for a spouse..

Wow, your mother is an amazing teacher and Vinod a great student. For the first time, he has done a great job. This should be such a great experience for him. And I was waiting so much for the new episode. :-) You make such great videos, I hope you will get time soon to collaborate in projects for television programs or private documentaries. It was a great idea to begin with Annika in onesie in Finland and then the next scene in Kerala with the same onesie - such an interesting take on creativity, a great way to tell your viewers that you are back to your home after vacations and quality time with your family. :-)
Vinod is naturally so athletic that he makes all these sports look so easy - i’m so jealous! 😄 i hope to come up with new projects in the future once Annika is a little bit easier to take care of! I’d love to make more educational videos too 😊👌

I have done a little skiing while I was in Kashmir. I feel Vinod has a lot of potential. His body posture is really good & for a first timer he has done really well.
He should now take to skiing at Gulmarg in N Kashmir. Glad you're all back in India. Do let subscriber's like me to know if you plan to visit Bangalore anytime. It we be a pleasure to meet you even if it's a couple of minutes.
