Somewhere there is a dumpster missing a pair of boots. The finished product meets the exceedingly high standards that you gentleman have set for yourselves. Thank you once again for sharing.
Really enjoyed the content-just a little bit of each step. I also enjoyed the distant shots of both of you working at the work bench. A little bit of a difference. It’s nice to see you listening to your viewers and following through.
My beloved country (South Africa) is burning right now and watching these terrific shoe repair videos is oddly comforting and very satisfying. Thanks for the distraction.
Hey guys - As many times as I've seen your restoration magic, I continue to be amazed by it. Great job, as always. And Trent, you know that I trust you, so my jeans are already ordered! :)
Wow! I lived this video. I learned so much. I have been watching your videos for 3 months now and this video revealed so much more. Thank you for the knowledge. I love learning about any subject. Trying to improve myself and expand my knowledge. My great-grandfather told me once when I was little to learn something everyday and not waste any day of life and you have helped me on my journey of life!
I would love to see 2 videos per week... A repair video and maybe a review, brand showcase or industry discussion? something like that would be awesome... great video as always
@@TrentonHeath Are you going to do another mega sandal assembly video? Set up a couple of cameras in the shop and then play them back at 3x speed. Use Yakky Sax as the music!
After working in my youth in a shop specializing in boot care amongst all the rest , I had a pair of boots resoled and I noticed right away the boot was shrunk around the ball of the foot area on one boot and hoped the leather would survive a whole new re-breaking in but alas not and the side of the boot blew out and was refused repair. Since then I had pretty much wrote off any shoe repair services but watching you two work my fait has been queasy healed.
That's amazing job, that's what I call craftsmanship all way through, looks so much better than what look before,% 110 much better 👍👍you both are incredible Gentleman...love the new boots 👢....
Just received my Southern Polished bull hide sandals this week. Shipping was really fast and they're really well made! It was a bit of a splurge purchase for me, but I wanted to support you guys after all the great content you've put out over the years.
Always satisfying to see an abused pair of boots like these Wolverines completely restored from replacing the gemming up to the leather cleaned and polished. About as new as you can get on used pair of boots. Good job guys.
The boots look great, the owner is going to be smiling for a week when wearing them. I did visit the jean site but they didn't have my size. Thank you for the excellent video.
I just bought a pair of compote Throgoods. Love the color and fit, but wish they could be changed into a regular toe boot. Not exactly sure what that is called, but can you convert a comp toe into a normal toe or should I just buy another pair of boots?? Your answer is greatly appreciated. My favorite RUclipsR Channel PERIOD!!!
I recently got two pairs of shoes resoled for what would have been the cost of just replacing one pair. The uppers were in great shape. Too few shoe repair shops left. Always interesting and fun videos!
Great work, as always. Is there a way to maintain a good patina on your boots without the leather becoming too dehydrated? I love the way my Thursday Boots are aging and fading in color, but am not sure when to treat them with the conditioner. I don’t want to lose that heavily used look.
A lot of neutral shoe creams do this. Bick 4 in particular is a product known for not darkening leather at all while still moisturizing. It's also pretty cheap and doesn't have any of the bad stuff like silicone.
Im always amazed how good lether looks with ware. Beautiful work! I wondered is it a thing to clean boots from in side with sadle soap, especially when they are apart and being resolved
Hi guys have you ever done extensive work repairing uppers? Sorry if there are videos already there that I missed. Would love to see how you would repair a torn upper or had to re-stitch an upper section of a shoe .
Kudos to the owner of those boots. Although "thrashed" with wear/use, the uppers have been cleaned and conditioned over the course of their life. My suggestion to the owner of these, a generous coat of Bick 4 conditioner all over the insides (entire), allow to soak in and then cedar shoe trees until dry. You'll find the veg tan leather will soften just a tad and make breaking these new insoles in to be easier. These boots turned out great.
Any idea how old that hammer is? Im a blacksmith/farrier by trade and im fascinated by hammers! That one looks pretty old to me! Love the videos guys! You have the coolest shop!
Great video and work as always! I do happen to have 3 pairs of Revtown jeans and khakis, they are awesome! Yes, I always share your restoration videos on FB.

Heck, who *doesn't* like hot cork?! Joking aside, wonderful to see the hand welting. And to see that 1000 Mile boots do have a shank! I have heard both that they do and do not, was never sure. But what's up with the leather board and synthetics in the sole? And that hollow heel block? Hmm...🤔 Another great job, gentlemen. Mahalo! 🤙🥾
That shoe cork clip! 😂 Thanks for inserting that for us oatmeal fans! You guys rock and a miracle worker!
Thank you so much!

@@TrentonHeath how often do you have to hand thread the bottom of the shoes like you did here?

Great job as always and a complete transformation into an amazing looking pair of boots!!
Thank you. Honored to beat out Sat morning cartoons. 😂
Y'all's channel sparked my interest in fine shoes
Thank you! We’re glad it helped.
Me too, I got a deal on my first pair of nice shoes, clearance Johnston and Murphy wingtips for 55$, heck yeah. I just need nice clothes now, haha.
