    Dak is just a stone cold killer at the moment. I think it says a lot about a person when you can go through the worst thing most of us will ever go through (losing your mom, to cancer nonetheless) come back the next Sunday and lead your CFB program to an upset win over LSU. He knows what adversity is like and he knows how to win in spite of life hitting him in the face. That's the type of young quarterback any team would want.

      D Rek Martin
      So if the cowboys say that Dak is better they would still be able to get good trade value out of him? I am saying start Romo now and either trade him next year or keep him until Dak's rookie contract is up.

    • @DRek903
      @DRek903 8 лет назад +1

      Glock2201 Its no longer a matter of if tony grt hurt its when will tony get hurt. Athletically Dak is better...football IQ Tony better both are good qbs. Looks like the future is now. If they can't negotiate a good deal with Tony I would move on from him. Noway Id pay 20m to a back up. Somebody would take romo thinking they can protect him. He goes out there and get hurt u lose leverage. I'd protect him till next year if Dak continues to shine. Only way romo would see the field is injury or poor play from Dak at this point.

    They drafted great on the O-Line because their O-Line was horrible. Remember the year Romo couldn't get the center to snap on time and over shot him on EVERY shotgun. He's made of paper mache now BUT at one point Tony was body strong and WAS BEATEN into the dirt for like 3 seasons with the worst O-line in the world. This was right around the time Flozell Adams went away, he had to deal with TO and his locker room cancer. Romo held it together for a long time. 2014 was his Window and it closed on a horrible call in Green Bay. But its over. Dak to the Future

  • @KamikOzzy_
    @KamikOzzy_ 8 лет назад +8

    Romo came from nothing, small college, undrafted! He's a top 5 qb when he is healthy. He's so criticized for no reason. He puts 48 on Denver 3 years ago and still loses. This team is finally doing good when he's already old, and wasted his youth on corruption.

      👏👏👏👏👏
      I couldn't have said it better. People do not know this, Romo has never had a top ten defense in points allowed but once. On the other hand Tom Brady has never won a superbowl without a top 10 defense in allowed points. In fact 30 out of the last 49 superbowl teams has had top ten defenses in points allowed. This is a team sport. Romo for years has carried this team with horrible defenses.

    • @sadvntg
      @sadvntg 8 лет назад

      James Herndon Patriots Defense in 2014 is ranked 13th sooo...
      Another thing Defense wins championships yes but Offense wins games... Tony has never made it to the conference championship my guy. So you can say Brady never won a championship without a good defense but he sure has taking them to the AFC or Superbowl even when he had a subpar defense which you cant say with Romo

    • @James-hq1yv
      @James-hq1yv 8 лет назад

      Obey The Good Guy Vintage
      However, in 2014 their defense was top 10 in defensive points allowed. My argument is not about total defense but points allowed. Tom brady has only won one championship out of 9 when his defense was not top ten. He has only won one divisional game when his defense wasnt top 10.
      The great Tom brady has only:
      •1 championship win
      •0 superbowl wins
      without a top 10 defense in points allowed. Who would have thought defense means something? Peyton Manning has never won anything without having a TOP 5 defense (not top 10, but top 5) in allowed points and he had the greatest offense ever one year. Romo has carried this franchise for years without having a TOP defense in points allowed except one time.

    The thing with trading Romo to me is, he won't have an offensive line like the Cowboys to protect him. If I were a owner, that would be taken into consideration. How many snaps are we going to get out of this guy? Before he's sidelined again.

    • @rampage241
      @rampage241 8 лет назад

      but for a long time he never had a great OL like we have in Dallas now. Part of the reason why he is so injury prone is because for the first 7 years or so in big D he was running for his life with no OL to speak of.

    Next year plan: Trade Romo to the Jets, and grab one of their decent front 7 guys and a 2nd round pick (or whatever else you can rip out of the Jets). Keep Dez or trade him to get a top line, younger TE to give dak that blanket if witten retires. If he doesn't retire, then you can employ a two TE system like the pats. Draft a WR early to develop if you trade dez, or grab a DB and focus mostly on defense in the draft. Would put the cowboys over the top next year. Eagles fan btw.

    Next man up has stepped in for the longhaul
    Tony will always have my support & revering
    But currently, Dak has my total allegiance
    As Romo once did

      MW2GEEK99 I love romo and that's not why people get angry it's the bashing that he's getting for no reason and the disloyalty

    Oh boy, he did good, untill he said you should get at least a 1st and a 4th rounder for Romo.. That's idiotic

      @davidparkes7741 8 лет назад

      Daumantas Žukauskas He might not lead a team to the SB, but his numbers he can put up are worth a 1st.

    • @shvedja
      @shvedja 8 лет назад

      David Parkes You're crazy. You don't get a 1st for a 36yr old qb who is injury prone and coming off of a back injury. A 4th rounder *at best*

    • @davidparkes7741
      @davidparkes7741 8 лет назад

      Daumantas Žukauskas True, but if you're the Browns or any other QB desperate team you'd be willing to give whatever you could for a guy who (when he is healthy granted) can finally give your team a winning record or at least 500.

    • @shvedja
      @shvedja 8 лет назад

      David Parkes No, any other QB desperate teams are rebuilding, save maybe the Jets, but they have a solid shot at top 5 pick. As for the Broncos, no way Elway gives Romo 17mil, that contract is ridiculous and noone wants it on their salary cap.

    • @davidparkes7741
      @davidparkes7741 8 лет назад

      Daumantas Žukauskas Yeah but when was the last time the Browns had a halfway decent draft? Lol. You're probably right, plus i can't see him willingly taking a pay cut.

    The only worry I have about keeping Dak is come playoffs time he might get his confidence broken and we're out a future franchise QB.

    Romo is a good quarterback, but his performance sinks (sucks) considerably during post season (2 wins/4 losses). Hope Dak fares better in these playoffs.

    Jerry Jones will mess it up. he's done it since he fired the coaches who won the Superbowls for Dallas.

  • @bobbycone2

    Romo wouldn't be done in Dallas in that happend. Think about it like a GM would. Romo doesn't play well for a few games.. Well, then you say Romo wasn't at full strength and still had some issues and you want to let him rest up more. Maybe he is done maybe he isn't at that point but thats how you spin it. Come on man!!

    Dak skipped that concert because a certain negative element (who lives matter) was going to be all over that concert and last time he was around that element that element tried to ruin his life. he learned from that mistake

    No one is giving up a 1st round pick for Romo giving his age and injury history..Sam Bradford got that because he's still young and we know the talent is there but he's never played on a complete team in his career with or without injuries..The salary cap hit another team is going to take to acquire Romo plus the picks better be worth it
