This is the best drama I have ever watched. Previously, I had never taken a character seriously. But when I saw Lou Yanxi I was really wide-eyed and amazed at how he managed to bring Tantai Jin's character to life so perfectly. His eye movements and all his body language made the character really come alive and stuck in my heart... I laughed and cried with him. To the point where I didn't have the courage to rewatch it because I couldn't bear to see the characters end up suffering so much. It all feels so real, even after months of watching it. I finally started my journey and watched all the dramas he starred in, and I found him to be amazing in all of them. Lou..., I hope you are healthy and continue to work in the future. Coming back here after watching episode 36 and let me just say this drama is so epic. The love and angst, the CGI, the complex story, the world building (one of the best ever imo), the acting of ALL cast but especially Luo Yunxi, just wow. You wont be disappointed future viewers. Actually this drama is too short! First time ever I wished a cdrama lasted longer than 50\60 episodes. Xanxia drama directors, take note, this is how you make a memorable xanxia!!

Also back to watch the beginning again, with the soundtrack playing daily, and obsessed with the story 😍❤️Tantai Jin and Li Susu, Lou Yunxi and Bailu ❤ Til the End of the Moon is one of the BEST dramaseries! Never to be forgotten. I am currently reading the novel, and waiting for more of the manwha to come out. I highly recommend watching this masterpiece. And I also recommend returning to watch all over again after you finish. To get more of the depth, every small detail you missed the first time, and pay better attention to how Tantai Jin and Li Susu communicate. Verbal and non-verbal. And for even more fun and emotional depth, try singing some of the songs. My fave is "With my Body". The song makes sense after you watch the entire serie. And not to forget "Holding on to Thoughts". Both of these are used in what to me is the most importaint scene at the end. And I cried my eyes out through them both. They are so powerful and filled with the strongest emotions, that pull at your heartstrings. The music coupled with the two amazing actors, makes for one of the strongest emotional impacts. And I don't cry easily when watching c-dramas. I cried in these: The Untamed. Love Better than Immortality. Princess Agents. Ice Fantacy. The Romance of Tiger and Rose. Ancient Love Poetry. Eternal Love of Dream. Eternal Love: 10 Miles of Cherryblossoms. Song of the Moon. Lost You Forever. And of course here: Til the End of the Moon. The Romance of Hua Rong. Did make me feel a lot, and shed a tear or two. But not bawling my eyes out, yelling at the screen, and calling out their names. I only do that for the best. I did for Tantai Jin 😢❤💔
Bai Lu has once again proven herself as a great actress! ❤This girl has a lot of talent! Much bigger than a simple drama! I hope one day to see her in a big movie and win an Oscar!❤

I'm addicted to this drama.... .luo yunxi played all the characters so well..ancient devil god, tan tai jin, ming ye, cang juimin, new devil god..all to perfection... One of the best Chinese fantasy wuxia ever made Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi was absolutely fabulous and I adore him even more in this movie I have watched all his series and by far he stole my heart on this one, he is one of my favorite actors. I have always liked him but he is bumped up into one of my favorite male Chinese actors and he has truly grown on me in a way that will never ever change.

Something great as TTEOTM only comes once in a decade. And Luo Yunxi needs to win all awards out there. He is Powerful Actor, 6 characters - 8 personalities and he slay it with grace. The most beautiful evil in Xianxia. Best acting I’ve seen in C Costume drama, and yes I mean it. Other actors take a look, you all need to up your acting. He literally overpowered everyone else, his acting is smooth from beginning to end.
tbh I agree. After seeing TTEOTM all the other cdramas pale in comparison and a big part of that is because the acting of Luo Yunxi is TOP NOTCH. Like, Oscar-worthy. Even though he deserves all the Awards there is, I don't think he'll win! Not because he's not talented! He's multi talented, hard working, and phenomenal actor! Because there's a lot of actors with giant company! Also most actors do variety shows so they are tend to be more popular! LYX only do a couple of variety shows! It's been awhile since he's in Variety Shows! While LYX focused on polishing his acting skills by hard work, most actors focus on Popularity and marketing their Star Power! That means making big bucks for the giant companies! China has a lot of idols and Stars but very few actors focus on Acting! LYX popularity has nothing to do with big company backing him or gain popularity by joining variety shows or marketing or hiring people to promote his popularity and trash their rivals by spreading false rumors! His popularity is earned! He's also a very straightforward and down to earth person too! Which means a nightmare for giant companies with deep pockets! So they'll do everything to prevent LYX from getting Awards since they have money and connections! He may get 1 or 2 but I doubt he'll get multiple awards though! The company LYX joined is rather small and LYX is their main money maker! Don't have money to spend and LYX don't approve any dirty tricks and spend money to gain popularity! Feels upset that he isn't likely to get multiple awards that he so deserves!

The chemistry or BIOCHEMISTRY between the Devil God and Bailu is something which you don't often see in Chinese Ancient Dramas, which is why this series is very unique and special. Need a season 2 asap. 🎉
I have never been a fun of Chinese drama and stumbled upon this by accident. I gotta say though, I am officially hooked. Just finished episode 22 and the complexity of this story is astonishing. The hero is the villain and we get to fall in with him alongside Li Susu. We know he's the bad guy but his character is so multi-dimensional that we understand his reasons. We also understand why she fakes loving him at first, I mean, she just watched him kill her entire family. But the angst, the chemistry, the hatred and pain just pours outside the screen. I am also impressed on how evil they make the hero... hollywood would have sugarcoated it
I really like their acting skills. I love this drama! Luo Yunxi is born to portray Chu Wanning ❤ I hope we'll have a chance to watch "The Immortality" but it's taking forever. 😢

The CGI in this episode is what I wished other xianxia dramas had, and the gratefulness I have that this is not just another heavenly/demon realm story but it tries to have a different plot in between ❤

Lou Yunxi is soooo gorgeous, especially in his devil god version❤❤❤. Kudos to all of the actors, actresses, and extras for portraying their roles effectively and well. Also, thanks to the director and producer of the series for generating an excellent drama to watch. And thanks to the author of Till the End of the Moon for creating the tantai jin and ye xiwu story. This is the first drama I have awaited starring Luo Yunxi since its announcement, and I recognize his pretty visual from seeing his picture in one of the food/snack packages in my local Chinese supermarket (lol). My first impression of LYX's performance is that he is quite impressive; his vacant and chilling expression from the massacre is impossible to overlook. His submissive and piteous expression at the end shifts your feelings towards his character instantaneously. He's very good. This first episode is strong and favourable for the potential plotlines this drama could undertake. I have to say this gave extreme LBFAD vibes and I suspected the Joker theme was at play here. It's not a bad thing, because I'm so invested in this story now. There's so many ways how this could go forward - was this wife the ultimate cause of the devil being brought to life? would the female lead's love towards him ends up saving them all? Honestly, I can't wait to find out. And big cheers to Youku for the subs!!!! ❤❤
Rewatching this after also finishing the novel. Everything makes so much more sense. Chemistry between leads is so 🔥. Didn't understand why Devil God went so easy on Susu and looked at her in THAT way when he didn't even know her? But now I understand...wow Luo Yunxi's acting skills are impeccable.

costume crew needs a raise for how out of this world good they made Luo Yunxi. I mean, the man is already hot as is, but Hnnnnnnngggggggghhhh can't get enough of his devil god looks 😍😍😍 On the side, seems like at least half the episodes have sound issues in spots. Be nice if those got fixed. Will 100% rewatch again and again though. I don't think I have seen a chinese drama in a long time that has had this effect on me. Last drama I watched that had me this obsessed was a korean drama called princess' man. Luo Yunxi's acting along with his chemistry with Bai Lu just made this drama 100 fold the best I have seen to date. Makes me wish I knew Chinese in order to go give my fan cheers in person lol. Too bad I am terrible at learning new languages T_T
I cannot imagine another actor other than Luo Yunxi playing the male lead. I’ve also heard he was bashed for being too skinny, but isn’t that the point? He was a hostage prince who barely eats once a day, so his physique is quite appropriate for the character when you think about it. Aside from that, his acting is topnotch! I’ve seen too many actors who portray being “indifferent” as expressionless which usually ends up looking bland. Here, Tantai Jin is indifferent as he couldn’t feel emotions, but Luo Yunxi’s acting is not flat at all, very commendable.
Yes his physical is 💯 fit the novel, skinny (too thin), weak, big beautiful eyes, tall, beautiful in a way pretier than most girls yet handsome n manly, not to mention luo facial expressions n eyes acting is top notch You a right about most actor try to look cold and indifferent, somehow just make their face sour from the too much efforts to look emotionless, bland and or flat, but here luo dont seem need too much effort at all, he just so good with facial expressions n eyes acting, all just flow naturally and on points 😊

Coming back here after watching episode 36 and let me just say this drama is so epic.
The love and angst, the CGI, the complex story, the world building (one of the best ever imo), the acting of ALL cast but especially Luo Yunxi, just wow. You wont be disappointed future viewers. Actually this drama is too short! First time ever I wished a cdrama lasted longer than 50\60 episodes. Xanxia drama directors, take note, this is how you make a memorable xanxia!!

I am currently reading the novel, and waiting for more of the manwha to come out.
I highly recommend watching this masterpiece.
And I also recommend returning to watch all over again after you finish. To get more of the depth, every small detail you missed the first time, and pay better attention to how Tantai Jin and Li Susu communicate. Verbal and non-verbal.
And for even more fun and emotional depth, try singing some of the songs.
My fave is "With my Body". The song makes sense after you watch the entire serie.
And not to forget "Holding on to Thoughts".
Both of these are used in what to me is the most importaint scene at the end.
And I cried my eyes out through them both. They are so powerful and filled with the strongest emotions, that pull at your heartstrings. The music coupled with the two amazing actors, makes for one of the strongest emotional impacts.
And I don't cry easily when watching c-dramas.

One of the best Chinese fantasy wuxia ever made Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi was absolutely fabulous and I adore him even more in this movie I have watched all his series and by far he stole my heart on this one, he is one of my favorite actors. I have always liked him but he is bumped up into one of my favorite male Chinese actors and he has truly grown on me in a way that will never ever change.
There are endless possibilities for Luo Yunxi's talent.. and together with Bai Lu.. makes everything so perfect and heavenly~ 💜💜 loved it ♥️

Something great as TTEOTM only comes once in a decade. And Luo Yunxi needs to win all awards out there. He is Powerful Actor, 6 characters - 8 personalities and he slay it with grace. The most beautiful evil in Xianxia. Best acting I’ve seen in C Costume drama, and yes I mean it. Other actors take a look, you all need to up your acting. He literally overpowered everyone else, his acting is smooth from beginning to end.

Even though he deserves all the Awards there is, I don't think he'll win! Not because he's not talented! He's multi talented, hard working, and phenomenal actor! Because there's a lot of actors with giant company! Also most actors do variety shows so they are tend to be more popular! LYX only do a couple of variety shows! It's been awhile since he's in Variety Shows! While LYX focused on polishing his acting skills by hard work, most actors focus on Popularity and marketing their Star Power! That means making big bucks for the giant companies! China has a lot of idols and Stars but very few actors focus on Acting! LYX popularity has nothing to do with big company backing him or gain popularity by joining variety shows or marketing or hiring people to promote his popularity and trash their rivals by spreading false rumors! His popularity is earned! He's also a very straightforward and down to earth person too! Which means a nightmare for giant companies with deep pockets! So they'll do everything to prevent LYX from getting Awards since they have money and connections! He may get 1 or 2 but I doubt he'll get multiple awards though! The company LYX joined is rather small and LYX is their main money maker! Don't have money to spend and LYX don't approve any dirty tricks and spend money to gain popularity! Feels upset that he isn't likely to get multiple awards that he so deserves!

I have never been a fun of Chinese drama and stumbled upon this by accident. I gotta say though, I am officially hooked. Just finished episode 22 and the complexity of this story is astonishing. The hero is the villain and we get to fall in with him alongside Li Susu. We know he's the bad guy but his character is so multi-dimensional that we understand his reasons. We also understand why she fakes loving him at first, I mean, she just watched him kill her entire family. But the angst, the chemistry, the hatred and pain just pours outside the screen. I am also impressed on how evil they make the hero... hollywood would have sugarcoated it

This is the first drama I have awaited starring Luo Yunxi since its announcement, and I recognize his pretty visual from seeing his picture in one of the food/snack packages in my local Chinese supermarket (lol).
My first impression of LYX's performance is that he is quite impressive; his vacant and chilling expression from the massacre is impossible to overlook. His submissive and piteous expression at the end shifts your feelings towards his character instantaneously. He's very good. This first episode is strong and favourable for the potential plotlines this drama could undertake.
I have to say this gave extreme LBFAD vibes and I suspected the Joker theme was at play here. It's not a bad thing, because I'm so invested in this story now. There's so many ways how this could go forward - was this wife the ultimate cause of the devil being brought to life? would the female lead's love towards him ends up saving them all? Honestly, I can't wait to find out. And big cheers to Youku for the subs!!!!

On the side, seems like at least half the episodes have sound issues in spots. Be nice if those got fixed. Will 100% rewatch again and again though. I don't think I have seen a chinese drama in a long time that has had this effect on me. Last drama I watched that had me this obsessed was a korean drama called princess' man. Luo Yunxi's acting along with his chemistry with Bai Lu just made this drama 100 fold the best I have seen to date. Makes me wish I knew Chinese in order to go give my fan cheers in person lol. Too bad I am terrible at learning new languages T_T

I cannot imagine another actor other than Luo Yunxi playing the male lead. I’ve also heard he was bashed for being too skinny, but isn’t that the point? He was a hostage prince who barely eats once a day, so his physique is quite appropriate for the character when you think about it.
Aside from that, his acting is topnotch! I’ve seen too many actors who portray being “indifferent” as expressionless which usually ends up looking bland. Here, Tantai Jin is indifferent as he couldn’t feel emotions, but Luo Yunxi’s acting is not flat at all, very commendable.
Yes his physical is 💯 fit the novel, skinny (too thin), weak, big beautiful eyes, tall, beautiful in a way pretier than most girls yet handsome n manly, not to mention luo facial expressions n eyes acting is top notch
