[Till The End of The Moon 长月烬明] To save the world ruled and tortured by Tantai Jin, the Devil God, Li Susu, daughter of the Hengyang Sect leader, takes a leap of faith and travels back to the world five hundred years ago. She teleports herself into the body of Ye Xiwu, the youngest daughter of the Ye family, hoping to stop Tantai Jin, the hostage prince of Jing Kingdom then who hasn't been completely corrupted by darkness, from becoming the Devil God. But to her surprise, Tantai Jin is actually Ye Xiwu's husband, and the two gradually fall in love with each other. Eventually, Li Susu sacrifices herself and manages to alter the fate of Tantai Jin and the world. After Susu's death, the heartbroken Tantai Jin searches for her spirit by the Nether River for five hundred years. At his last gasp, an immortal sect rescues him and takes him in as a disciple. One of my favorite quote is “Evil isn’t born, it’s made” and this applies so much to Jintai because he deserves every death he took and every destruction he causes because he is owed. The world owed him so much and I’d not scold him for trying to kill everyone. And Xiwu was actually a cruel woman omg.

It seems she has not yet understood that the pain she's causing him , and what he's going through is what turned him into a devil , funny and ironically she wasn't sent to kill him but to show him love and care, that's the only way to change his fate

I really sympathize with Tantai Jin's situation and feelings. No one is truly born evil but it is the circumstances of life that make them so. Genuinely looking forward to more of this character and the rest of the drama plot!!
Being bullied in life don’t mean you HAVE to become evil tho… the circumstances in life can make you a better person too.. you can grow up knowing what you had to face in life and say that you don’t want to be like this to anyone…cause you know what it feels like ..becoming evil is just allowing your weaker side to take over .many good people in life is good because they had a tough time and don’t want this for anyone else.

God, I can’t actually remember the last time a ML character was tormented so badly that your heart aches for them. Well it’s no wonder he became a catalyst for the most vicious devil god in all the realms. One can imagine the years of hatred, pain and bitterness he’s gone through but I wonder what event finally made him turn. The story is off to a strong start and I’m so invested. We’ve got amazing wardrobe, soundtrack, visuals, characters and story.
SuSu is going to be the ultimate game changer and I can’t wait to see it. She voiced what I’m sure we all thought, that he is clearly turned evil 500 years later, but the present him is completely innocent. There’s a lot of layers here and I can’t believe it’s only ep2.
If you want to see a ML being tortured relentlessly, you should watch Love and Redemption. The only thing the ML does it get tortured. (sry this is a little late)
I want to cry for tantai Jin 😭😭😭😭 it's so heartbreaking
This is literally giving Cinderella but gender reverse. He’s talking to the birds, has the thinnest clothes in the middle of winter (in the original context they may as well be rags), doing the dishes and other servant work, abused beyond reason even though he has done nothing wrong, considerate enough to even tell Ye Xiwu to get inside from the cold, stays upstairs on the highest floor of the house - equivalent to an attic.
I’ve not seen the trailer so I’m quite shocked. It’s refreshing, but immensely tragic.
It's interesting how much the Devil God invests in constantly attacking Tantai Jin when he's mentally at his most vulnerable telling him how unloved and how broken he is, ect. Kind of reminds me of how depression speaks when we're in our darkest hours. The Devil God is doing it because he needs TTJ's consent to use his body after he dies...tells TTJ he'll have peace once he gives in, scary terminology if you think about it from a different pov.
No matter how evil or bitter someone is, it's only LOVE that can mould and melt the heart. Love can change everything..

I loved episode 2 even more than episode 1! I especially love seeing beautiful Bai Lu play the sweet wide-eyed innocent, Li Su Su, and then in the flashbacks portray the sadistic, evil Ye Xiwu! Thank you for the lighter bits when everyone wonders what has gotten into her (even the crow thinks Ye Xiwu is behaving too sanely!) I'm so glad that Li Su Su has come to terms with the fact that she has to keep Tantai Jin alive for now. Nice kiss and bed scene too!

I didn't know this was going to start out as a villainess cdrama! This makes me think of a couple villainess anime I've watched, where the main character starts out as a villainess and has to change her character to become a good person to save herself. It's hard watching her bully Jin. I was hoping she'd help him out sooner, but she REALLY hates him. I can understand, as she was plopped 500 years in the past after seeing his future self cruelly and gleefully murder all her loved ones. She has like no time to grieve her father's death, she wakes up, has to flee, and has to learn all of the aspects of her new life. Then she sees him almost right away. You can see that she struggles with her hatred of his future self. Remember, she probably saw him in the past an hour or so after he killed everyone she loved in the future. You can already see her start to realize what she's doing is wrong, and that he's innocent in the past. I've been bullied and abused, so this is a hard watch for me. I can only wish my bullies had ever seen what they were doing was wrong and started treating me like a human being, like Susu does Jin. But they never did.
Just wanted to say that if u like villainess troupe then read manhwas, there are such good stories with that trope. You'll like it

Many of you got very upset because of her not helping Tantai Jin. I know it's very upsetting. Try to look from her perpective. She came here after watching her full family and sect being distructed by the Tantai Jin himself. I know it was future and he is still not a devil God himself but you can't expect her suddenly to be kind to the one who is going to murder her family and all. Also, she knows nothing about this world and Tantai Jin. She is slowly learning about her and Tantai Jin. She is trying to see more than only her hatred for him. She is trying to think with humanity. Don't judge her at the verry beginning. If she had helped him in the beggining, then it wouldn't be realistic.

This was the first Chinese series that I have watched. I would say that it was really impressive. All actors were really great in both emotional expressions and beautiful costumes. I love it ❤

I agree in part with most people here, yes a lot of times some people are targeted, bullied and abused terribly. However not everyone responds to their treatment by turning evil themselves. Some do and others remain good. Further still some people do not have the excuse of being under extreame circumstances to turn evil. While their environment plays a hige role, their inherent charecter also plays a part in how people turn out.
Giving someone heavy punishment doesn't solve the problem rather make the person worse than before

Superb episode..i love this drama because of male character lou yunxi. He is a great actor❤
The fact that her current cold, insulting, harsh treatment of him is still a vast improvement over how he was usually treated... 😭
So why exactly did most of Ye Xiwu's family like her so much? 😞
These earlier episodes are so hard to watch. 😢 I know some don't think Li Susu is at fault in how she is behaving, but I have to say that I do. She's continuing Ye Xiwu's cruelty (I know she gets nicer eventually) while thinking to herself that such punishments 'serve him right,' but, at least as far as she knew, he had not yet DONE anything to warrant being treated worse than an animal--other than simply existing. He was NOT the Devil God yet. How does it not instantly occur to her that maybe this kind of treatment is part of what turned him evil? I'd be curious to see how she would act towards the real Ye Xiwu (who is actually Li Susu's bad side come to life, right? Whew) knowing that she was a person who would drug her own sister out of envy and jealousy and torture someone to the point of death. As far as motivations go, I don't think anything Tantai Jin did was worse than that. Honestly and sadly, I think she'd be far more lenient on her than she is on him. :(
Well, I can't quite find the way to adequately express what I feel watching this. I'll just say that it makes me very sad. 😔 Just want to jump through the screen and save the poor guy. 😭
Glued to it. Wonderful story. I admire both main leads and I have seen them in other work. They are both great in this drama.

you can't blame Ye Xiwu (Susu) to become slightly cruel at first, Tantai Jin is the one who killed her father in her present time... y'all need patience >.
