Nah I can't lie, I'm super disappointed in this game. Should have been crash bash 2. This entire game seems like it should be one mode among many. Worried about content too. If they don't add a LOT of maps and characters (which I'm starting to doubt now.i know the price is only £25) They should have took an extra year or two for development and released a proper full priced game. I’m with you on this. This game feels very barebones. Where’s the content? Where’s the story? Regardless of the kind of game it is, Crash ALWAYS had a single player mode with story. I’m not interested in another Multiversus-esque clone. I dropped that game after the first day… Yeah I’m not looking forward to this…
Thanks for sharing this info to us! I still feel a bit skeptical about it. Not sure how to really feel about this. I think I want to wait and see how this turns out. I am genuinely curious about the game.
Aaaaaaand the battle pass is a no for me. Just gives the developers a reason to not give content for the game. Activision effed cod up so I’m sure they’re going to jump down TfB throats to make money with absurd bundles.
yup. Even CTRNF online got terrible support. Crash and Spyro were the only activision games ive bought in a while and thats only due to no live service. This game is a huge red flag.
The 4 Dingodiles: 'Geez mate either I bonked me head so many times or there really is more mes. But I'm the true Dingodile!'. Yeah I imagine the Dingodiles might have trouble getting along.
Nice to FINALLY see some gameplay! Still don't feel hyped for the game, but I'm starting to get interested. Just a few general thoughts as I'm watching: 1: The main gameplay mode is basically coin blitz from Divine Knockout. Which I'm okay with. 2: Not dropping wumpa when getting hit feels like there's not enough incentive to attack enemy players and put yourself at risk. 3: Do wumpa and relics respawn? If so, how quickly? 4: Tawna is a scorer. We know. 5: Battlepass? Booooooooooo! 6: Activision account required to play the game? Boo-urns! All-in-all, it's really something I need to feel in my own hands to make a judgment call on, but I'm cautiously optimistic.
- combat feels worthless if you can't steal wumpas - $30? Fairly cheap but I'll wait for Xbox game pass - teams can have more than one player per team is good as I'm sure Spyro will be a popular choice
I never thought I'd say this on a Crash Bandicoot game, but I'll pass... Battle Pass, no single player (at launch, but if it's not at launch, IDC), MOBA, MTX... Sorry, not interested.
Yeah this is looking pretty terrible. It's gonna have a similar fate to Crash on the Run. As much as I criticized the Titans games back in 2007, at least those are still playable today and you have full access to everything the games have to offer offline as complete packages.
@@Manic_Panic Yeah, and those games can still be pretty enjoyable, even though they were a downfall of Crash, and are not my favourites. But if this ain't gonna have at LEAST single player, like literally EVERY SINGLE Crash game (aside from On the Run from 2021), I just can't care less.
@@Manic_Panic same crash and spyro were doing well when they are just singelplayer releases. Them making these 2 into live service was my biggest concern crash and spyro already died once. Live service is bound to kill them again. Even CTRNF was a flop in terms of the terrible online servers and Activision lying about no microtransactions only to implement them later. Yes I know those wumpa coins are pretty easy to earn but its the principle that counts.
@@slayer4932 To be fair, they never said there wouldn't be MTX. In fact, they did say they'd implement them later. It was a terrible communication error.
I'm not entirely sure how it isn't a MOBA, regardless of what they say. Is it multiplayer? Yes. Is it online? Yes. Is it a battle arena? Yes. It ticks every box, even if it is a different take on the genre.
Thank you very much for your effort! Your videos are always informative. At first I thought that the standard version would be enough for me, since I don't care about this blocky and pixelated stuff at all, but at least the unique banner, the Victory Music, as well as the Premium Battle Pass for Season 1 & 2, and also the 25 instant unlocks, among other things, are also worth opting for the deluxe edition. I think I read somewhere that there should be a classic skin for Tawna. I guess probably also in the deluxe edition, right?
Along with more characters, more roles would be welcome in my opinion, like Thieves or Trap Layers. I can easily see small characters like Yaya or King Chicken being thieves. One could assume they'd be fast, but weak. Useless for fighting, but great as thieves or scorers. Ripper Roo would be a dead ringer for a Trap Layer, for obvious reasons. If we're talking movesets, we'd be here forever. Iron Checkpoint Crate would be a GOAT Support/Blocker, making bouncy crates for its team mates, or straight up walls of iron crates to block enemies. Von Clutch could be an absolute menace, using his megaphone to stun enemies if they get too close to him. Vizcount could be a pure nuisance by putting pay-to-play gates in front of enemy chokepoints, forcing them to give up wumpas in order to make the gates go away. N. Trance could use his hypnosis to temporarily disorient enemies. The possibilities are vast!
i saw this game on the xbox guide, figured id look into it... well you hit everything more or less. good vid. thanks man. its pretty clear what this is. hopefully its beloved and treats its fans well.
@@giovannimeza1 Well like I said, it seems like the game is good. Crash's multi-player (CTR notwithstanding) hasn't been great. Bash is ok, Boom Bang sucked, and I don't even count Crash Tag Team
It reminds me of Fat Princess, but with Crash Bandicoot. I'm not sure it's the game for me, maybe a Crash 5 or Spyro 4 would be better, but I hope I'm wrong and it does well.
How can people be okay with the monetization of a pay-to-play game that doesn't make sense if it was free-to-play okay but you already paying to play it
that would end up in this same situation of live service cash grabs. Crash and Spyro just needs to be left out of online multiplayer and only singleplayer focus with maybe local co op.
Me still holding out hope N.Gin will be playable but i am curious is it a system where you get randomly added to a team and get to play or do you have to have friends to play with because i have none lol
Man, to be honest I'm not quite as excited for this game as I thought... the lack of offline and single player mode is very off-putting to me I admit BUT I will still keep an eye out to see how this game comes along - and I do hope the fans who are into this sort of thing will enjoy it. I'll be sure to watch you (and others) play it, nonetheless! Even if I, myself, don't end up getting it. Hope to see more characters added in too!
Not sure that this falls in it's own category. This sounds like Pokémon Unite. Except that game was free. The season passes also sound like the seasons from Multiversus which is also free. Should've just followed that route and had free characters that take a while to unlock and the paid passes give you skins and other cosmetics...will wait for a sale and that's if the game lasts that long.
Im excited tho i have the same concerns as everyone else battlepass and story mode... but looks cool and fun might be an okay game to play with friend from time to time
This game kinda reminds me of Rayman M and that game was my childhood so I’m quite excited for this. One thing I noticed though is that it does seem kinda slow paced right now? But maybe that’ll change
Very unlikely. Perhaps they are waiting for the next Nintendo console to be revealed next year so they can get started on a port the following year at launch.
Game is a MOBA. They're just trying to be different, which is okay sometimes, but don't complicate it imo. There's already been games like this. Platformer MOBAs. I can't wait for this game.
Nothing wrong with innovation and diversifying the product, but don't be surprised when the die hard fans like myself don't buy it. If it isn't a single player platformer/game, I don't want it. Online and multiplayer options should be an accessory to the main game as far as I'm concerned.
Sad to say it, but even if I wasn't abstaining from any and every ActiBlizz property til they clean up their act I'd still probably skip this one. Literally _so_ tired of paying for a game only to be told to pay up even more or else grind for hours on end - it's artificial engagement. If they'd just release a feature-complete game people would stay engaged. Before anyone brings it up, the only reason CTR:NF worked as a paid title with the live service model was because it was a whole game at launch with only minor gameplay* additions added post-launch, and even then the grind for coins and nitro points without just succumbing to the ~~micro~~ macro transactions was egregious, especially if you couldn't pay for PSN/XBL/NSO and before they added x2 weekends to offline play. Crash Team Rumble doesn't have the benefit of being a remake of multiple complete titles in one package with multiple modes of play from the start; there's no way it's gonna have enough content at launch to sustain a stable playerbase.
PLEASE release this for PC as well. Really disappointed that there's no PC version and it doesn't make any sense when it already supports cross platform play between different consoles apparently. PC users shouldn't always get this second hand treatment.
I want to know one thing if I buy the standard edition can I get all the deluxe edition contents just by playing the game without paying real money ( only in game ) ?
i pretty much became a crash fan when nitro fueled on ps4 and crash on the run were still fresh so i dont know much about the series still, but what i wonder is why everyone likes dingodile and coco over everyone else, neo cortex exist. not sure if oxide is a main, does spyro count as a main now that they added him 3 new games? they added spyro in crash team racing and crash on the run as a boss battle and probably this game as well. i mean probably, for all i know he could be cut at the release of the game i dunno.
This game looks kind of difficult. But I'm going to give it a try anyway. I don't even know if I'll get the game in time for the seasonal events. I plan to get a Playstation 5 in September, so I might a miss a few things. But hopefully it will be like Crash team racing where you can unlock those cool features from the pit stop. That is if they're going to have something like a pit stop. I want to play this game once I get the Playstation 5. I figured the game would look a lot better on that console than the PS4.
Check out the New Gameplay too!

They should have took an extra year or two for development and released a proper full priced game.
Also. Any game with a battle pass can suck a wet one.
I hope I'm wrong though and this game is great and with any luck I'll be back to eat my words in June
I’m with you on this. This game feels very barebones. Where’s the content? Where’s the story? Regardless of the kind of game it is, Crash ALWAYS had a single player mode with story. I’m not interested in another Multiversus-esque clone. I dropped that game after the first day…
Yeah I’m not looking forward to this…
Thanks for sharing this info to us!
I still feel a bit skeptical about it. Not sure how to really feel about this. I think I want to wait and see how this turns out. I am genuinely curious about the game.
I really hope Nina gets knowing that it is her CTR design that they used in Crash 4
Me me me there's so many of me
Nice to FINALLY see some gameplay! Still don't feel hyped for the game, but I'm starting to get interested. Just a few general thoughts as I'm watching:
1: The main gameplay mode is basically coin blitz from Divine Knockout.
Seeing all this info and gameplay on CTRumble! Definitely has me excited and hyped for the game's release on June 20th!
Sorry but ⤵️
- combat feels worthless if you can't steal wumpas
- $30? Fairly cheap but I'll wait for Xbox game pass
- teams can have more than one player per team is good as I'm sure Spyro will be a popular choice
Much better than I was expecting. I’m hyped
i saw this game on the xbox guide, figured id look into it... well you hit everything more or less. good vid. thanks man. its pretty clear what this is. hopefully its beloved and treats its fans well.
Me:
The Enemy Team: All Tawnas.
Me: Even if I lose, I win.
Have to say, seeing the gameplay helped so much of my concern. We may finally have an actually good Crash Multi-player title (racing games excluded)
Good multiplayer ? How is good this is only online mode?
@@giovannimeza1 Well like I said, it seems like the game is good. Crash's multi-player (CTR notwithstanding) hasn't been great. Bash is ok, Boom Bang sucked, and I don't even count Crash Tag Team
I never get overly excited for game news but when I saw that release date my jaw dropped and I’m so excited like omgggg
They need to bring crash bash back 😢
I was hoping this would get a storymode like Crash Bash did...
It reminds me of Fat Princess, but with Crash Bandicoot.
I'm not sure it's the game for me, maybe a Crash 5 or Spyro 4 would be better, but I hope I'm wrong and it does well.
I hope it doesn't get repetitive after a while
Cool im definitly gonna play Crash Team Rumble Canadianguyeh
How can people be okay with the monetization of a pay-to-play game that doesn't make sense if it was free-to-play okay but you already paying to play it
What's that shit? I'm still waiting for Crash Bash remake
that would end up in this same situation of live service cash grabs. Crash and Spyro just needs to be left out of online multiplayer and only singleplayer focus with maybe local co op.
In terms of subject matter, it would be interesting if Crash had a unique rival character in this game. I wonder when story mode will be added
Me still holding out hope N.Gin will be playable but i am curious is it a system where you get randomly added to a team and get to play or do you have to have friends to play with because i have none lol
"It's not a MOBA"
Proceeds to describe a MOBA.
I am so excited to play this Game! Hope the Game is good and the online gets better Support.
So ready for RUMBLE 😍😍😍
5 minutes after upload!!! Rumble hype.
I agree. Aswell would be great for coach co-op.
Also if you missed it, Brio is present in the gameplay clip as an AI player on the other team.
Great video as always , cant wait for the game
Not sure that this falls in it's own category. This sounds like Pokémon Unite. Except that game was free. The season passes also sound like the seasons from Multiversus which is also free. Should've just followed that route and had free characters that take a while to unlock and the paid passes give you skins and other cosmetics...will wait for a sale and that's if the game lasts that long.
I’m a huge Crash Bandicoot fan. That being said I don’t think this game will do too well 😢
Same. I don’t have much hope for it. They went the wrong direction…
Great video!! Well explained and actually sounds like alot of fun! Subscribed!
Welcome aboard!
Im excited tho i have the same concerns as everyone else battlepass and story mode... but looks cool and fun might be an okay game to play with friend from time to time
So hyped for this , looks really cool
Man I can’t wait for these streams! ❤
This game kinda reminds me of Rayman M and that game was my childhood so I’m quite excited for this. One thing I noticed though is that it does seem kinda slow paced right now? But maybe that’ll change
I want a full offline solo mode! Online only is a HARDPASS.
I love Crash more than anything, sadly if the game doesn't come to PC, I will have to pass on the game :(
CGE should be a playable character in this game
Once again, i really hope Crash Team Rumble comes to Switch at some point.
Very unlikely. Perhaps they are waiting for the next Nintendo console to be revealed next year so they can get started on a port the following year at launch.
This doesnt look like a good Crash game :/
I'd love it if we could get the Crash Bash Loading screen theme as Victory music.
It's Not League of legends but it's definitely SMITE with platforms
I wonder if you will be able to chat with your teammates during battle
I am Happy Brother Canadian Guy do Video's Crash Team Rumble & Look Fun to Play's
It not being F2P is a major drag imo. Servers are gonna end up like the CTR:N servers.
Can I pre order it from now till April 19th and still be able to use the 5 day beta from April 20-24th or I have to pre order it like right now
This game looks fun. Having neither PlayStation nor XBox, I might watch you play only...
I figured the game would look a lot better on that console than the PS4.
so it's not free to play... and you still have to pay for battle passes...
damn. it should be one or the other.
if im paying for the battle pass AND game then that shit better not be a huge grind like other games.
So it's like Pokemon unite without the moba like skills but adding power ups.
Honestly, I love how this isn't the price of a full game. If it gets a switch port, I'll gladly give it a shot
