I agree with you about Amouage men’s fragrances vs women’s. Lyric man is my very favorite rose ever! I used up a tiny decant and really really want the big bottle!
Very nice presentation! Amouage has become a fave house for me based on some that I really like a lot. Just for fun, my top 5 are: Overture Man, Reflection Man, Jubilation XXV, Journey Man and Interlude Man. Each one a masterpiece for me, and have full bottles of all except for Overture which is not available in the USA (have a decant though).
there is only one amouage that can be considered a piece of art, and that is dia man. the likes of jubilation are more dense and easier to like, but dia achieves a state of dynamic innovation and precisely balanced elegance like a Brancusi sculpture
I wore Interlude last night! Actually layered with a clone to smooth it out a bit. "The whole periodic table of olfactory accords..." 🤣 Boy howdy. Overture, Jubi and Beach Hut my top 3! Certainly don't wear Jubi enough ever since I designated it my traditional new year's day scent. Waiting for Lattafa, Arabian Oud or some other middle eastern brand to nail the scent profile so I can spray away!
have you tried black iris???? i love that 1, its my favorite.. i tried black iris before even trying interlude man, although i do like interude man black iris is a lot better..
I couldn't find a single Amouage scent that Wowed me. A way overrated house. I don't buy "nice" smells. I only buy magic. Amouage is just nice. No magic here.

For example, the following perfumes are magical for me : -Tom Ford Tuscan Leather and Oud Wood. -Marly Carlisle and Oajan. -Amouage Bracken Man grew on me. -Initio Side Effect grew on me. -Xerjoff Pikovaya Dama is fricking amazing. -Tom Ford Ombre Leather is wonderful in my skin. -Byredo Accord Oud dries down beautifully on me. -Lorenzo Villoresi has some amazing scents. -Thameen has a few interesting scents. And there are more magical scents... but they are MY beautiful scents, on MY skin, and to MY nose and tastes. You should fall in love with your own list :)
