I think that's the first time I've seen you finish a pour on camera. The Bunnas are gooders, for sure.
I can't remember the last time I finished one on camera. I guess you can say I liked this one. Cheers!
Yea man this bottle is something special it's definitely 1 of my favourite's I have open at the moment. Not looking forward to trying to replace it tho 😢 only got about half bottle left...Glad you enjoyed it I also like the Laphroaig PX easy to find I get same flavour profile but with a hint of smoke Soooo Freaking good.... Cheers Peter 🥃 🍻 🥃
This was my one and only chance at getting it so I had to buy it for the channel.
Well if I win the raffle.. this one is definitely in my 6!
Good luck!
Good luck! 🙂
Thanks!
Cheers! I have you down for the June giveaway. Best of luck.
Nice video as always! Regards from Mexico!
Thank you very much! Cheers!
Sounds great, 240 is over my limit for scotch category. I almost picked up the bunnahabhain 12 year cask strength, think it was $90, but was looking for a few new bourbon releases at that time so I figured I'd get it another time.
In my opinion Bunnahabhain 12 CS is better than this. The only reason I picked it up was for the channel review and maybe someone would want to take a shot at winning a 2 oz sample for the giveaway. It is way too expensive. Cheers!
Definitely get the CS Bunnahabhain. Especially if it is the 2022 bottle. Infact if you see that one.... buy multiples. One of the best whiskies in the past 5 years.
Water does some different things for me. Sometimes, it kind of congeals the flavors and intensifies them and this can add some spice. My favorite is when the flavors shuffle up and it gives me a different experience. But most often, flavors soften up, sometimes not for the better.
Adding water has been hit and miss with me, but when it hits it's great.
@@whiskeyisajourney definitely more miss than hit thus far.
Just to pricey for me but I'm sure its delicious. Good luck on your BBQ competition.
Thanks 👍
This is one of my favourite scotch whiskies Peter! I love your thoughts! This is a delicious beauty and for me it's worth the local price! It's fabulous on the nose and even better on my palette and it's viscous! Love it! I got the bitterness in mid palette too. I would have liked the finish to be a bit longer. The orange-chocolate combination is lovely! I love the leather and tobacco! I admit I didn't add water! I have to try water to see what it's like! I love the cask info! Much appreciated! I had no idea! I really enjoyed this video a lot!! - as always!! I have never been to the Feis Ile Festival on Islay but I'd love to go! I have been to many of the Scottish distilleries and in particular the Islay distilleries. But others too! Cheers! Greetings to Mary Bridget!! 🙂
Thanks. I think it's over priced, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get it. I didn't think I'd have another opportunity to get one so I shelled out the money and hopefully people will have some interest in it for the giveaway. We will see. Either way I'm happy I got it. Cheers!
@@whiskeyisajourney I feel the same way Peter. I almost avoided this scotch due to the price but I had to try it and I am glad I did! Have a super awesome day!! Hey is school out?! Our kids our out at the end of June! My great nephew had his graduation ceremony on Monday - I am an all in aunty! Lol! He's a hockey nut and I am hoping he gets a scholarship for university! I will help! I see a sports lawyer in the making!! Teachers are the best! I almost went that route prior to choosing psych and then grad school! 🙂
School has been out since May 16th. We go back at the end of July. Summer is going way to quick. Time needs to slow down!
@@whiskeyisajourney Oh wow! Hey that's awesome - a longer summer! I agree it's going too quickly! Huge good luck wishes for the next BBQ!! 🙂
I got this week of the festival 2023 for 120 euros. Would not pay above that but it is a very very good whisky.
It was certainly too expensive at the price I paid, but I agree it's good stuff. Cheers
Never had it but have not had a bad Bunna
I have never had a bad one as well so I figured I would pick this up when I got the chance. Cheers!
I’m also from Az. Casa Grande. I have a pretty good collection. But not doing RUclips. Cheers
Cheers!
Sounds delicious, but too pricey for my taste. The Feis Ile bottles from most Islay distilleries tend to come at quite a premium.
I agree. It's too pricey. This was the first time I saw something from Bunna like this so I decided to pick it up just in case someone wanted a chance to win it in the June giveaway.
@@whiskeyisajourney Would certainly pick this one if I win.
Good luck! I made the executive decision to include the Jim Beam Black 7 Flight into the June giveaway for whoever wins. It will not count toward the 6 2oz samples. I will just include it automatically in the giveaway.
240? Okay just paid 104euro for a bottle of this canasta
There is no way around the price in my area. I know it's a lot, but I decided to make the purchase regardless of the price. Cheers!
