It's actually annoying how much more unrealistic and unreasonable empowerment they give to Enola who somehow outdoes a genius and experienced male adult detective in a high middle ages London when women couldn't even move freely on streets. She is an uneducated, unsocial village teenager girl who can easily get lost in the unknown big city and get abused. But isntead, she is somehow fastest, smartest, strongest and kissed by all on a forehead girl who resolves a complex and life dangering case against all odds and numerous enemies in a matter of days with barely any help and before her legendary brother with all his resources.. Since when female empowerment is about telling shitty fairy tales?? Life is not like that 🤣
@Wynn those all women were no kids, had family and financial back up and ...didn't go out at the night streets alone to fight crime single handedly. Your comparisons are all invalid. This movie is simply fairy tale. Nothing more than that. Plus, Holmes was a drug addict too as much as many other geniuses of human kind, yet it didn't diminish their talent or intelligence. Had it been all about the doctor, he wouldn't be asking so many stupid questions and be a sheer follower. Open the books and read at least once 😏🤦
