I make it with olive oil, onion, carrot, celery, lentils tomato sauce and some thyme, origano and rosemary, some salt and a splash of white dry wine. Try this way and let me know! It is kind of the original recepie except for the herbs.

    Just something to take into consideration: for some people chocolate and cocoa powder can cause acne flare ups so might be the next thing to omit for some time and then reintroduce if what you're avoiding now doesn't help!

    • @TheConscientiousEater
      @TheConscientiousEater  2 года назад +1

      Thanks for sharing! I know, skin is so personal and everyone has different triggers. So far what my program has recommended omitting is working, but if it comes down to it, I'll definitely try omitting cocoa/chocolate...although that would be a sad sad day!

    Thank you 😊 I’m wondering, do you fortify your oat milk with calcium and vitamins? That is my one concern with making my own milk is that I may not get enough calcium, B12 and other necessary plant eater nutrients.

    • @TheConscientiousEater
      @TheConscientiousEater  2 года назад +1

      Such a good question! I usually don't make homemade milk because I like all the vitamins and calcium provided in store-bought milk. This homemade milk was mainly for me because I can't have b12 for a little while to clear my skin, but the rest of my family drinks store-bought milk. If I made homemade milk for my family, I would definitely look into how to fortify my milk! I know it can be done as I looked into it when I used to make more milk at home.
