If you have Christmas content-early-Oct-it allows someone to watch it, get ideas, then plan/prepare while the items are still in the stores. If you wait til November, the time “to watch/think on it” is past and the time to get it done, to pull off Christmas is already here.

Lush has the same selling tactics in the US too. I don't think it's too early to browse and shop for Christmas at all - all the good stuff gets picked over early if you don't look when they come out!

I think the Gonks are cute. I’m a massive fan of Christmas, so I’m happy to see seasonal stuff in shops. I get my shopping done early, because I can’t deal with queues, and just the overall busyness, so I get everything done and wrapped as early as possible.

For me, Christmas officially starts on 1 December. However, the shopping can legitimately begin much earlier to allow for planning. For example, you cannot wait until December to buy most Advent Calendars! I avoid Lush for the reason you have stated. I live on the other side of the world, so it must be the result of a corporate policy, not just over-enthusiasm on the part of the shop staff! Thank you for the video!
YES! Get it now! You don’t have to put it up right now. Get it now so you get what you want and if you want to make another wreath you will have time to put it together before the holiday madness starts.

Hannah, another great vlog. I tend not to buy for Halloween as far as decorations are concerned - I live in a security access flat. I do however buy goodies and treats for my daughters and grandchildren - candles for my daughters and sweet treats for grandchildren. We're all really looking forward to Christmas and the festive season. 🎄x
This was so much fun! I think mid Nov would be a great time re the festive content,starting to feel the xmas vibes but not too early.

Great video. Halloween isn't really celebrated as much here in New Zealand and we are end of spring but love seeing the autumn decor there. Would love to see the items you buy in more detail when you get home after your shopping trips. Looking forward to vlogmas....the earlier the better 😀

My Granddaughter’s birthday is on Halloween! She thinks every kid goes trick or treating on their birthday…she’s 5😊🎃👻 To remove the stickers, put creamy peanut butter on the sticker and let it set an hour or so. Take a plastic knife and it scraps right off or use Goo B Gone orange spray.

I agree with what you said about not buying some items because they are just decoration and not decor, that is so true! Hi Hannah, I enjoyed watching the great selection of home decor at the Home Scents. I wish we had this store here in Prague too. We don't celebrate Halloween here, although the expats in this city organize quite a few club parties etc. I was surprised that Costa should be more expensive than Starbucks. It's vice versa here. Even though TBH I recently noticed a slight increase in Costa's prices. Anyhow, I always prefer Costa when in the UK. This Monday I went to Lidl here and they already had Xmas food and also one of the stores here already sells Xmas home decor. And I already got my cosmetic advent calendar from my favorite organic brand since they always sell out super fast. I agree it's too early to focus on Xmas stuff but unfortunately if you don't buy it now most of it is gone by late November. Super annoying.

I agree on Lush, even the store here in San Diego they’re all over you, grabbing your hand, washing it! Enough already! As "Day of the Dead" is very popular on the West Coast, USA, where I have always lived. and keeps on growing in interest. You had so many items to share with the iconographic images to choose from. (You had a few on your pound store vlog, which was cool!) Once again shopping, seeing the styling. Getting to enjoy the convince and versatility in the food to go category. (I envy your countries food experience On this front) Very good fun Vlog.

My Mum and I watch from Toronto Canada every Sunday ! We started watching at the beginning of the pandemic. LOVE the autumn shopping ! For Christmas vlogs rule of thumb is after Remembrance day .
Thanks for a different shopping experience this outing, Hannah. Mall shopping is so convenient, but I miss the old-fashioned, downtown department stores. None left in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 😢 So agree with the Lush experience. Love their products, but always avoid going in there for that reason.
Christmas pudding and mince pie price match and best tasting might be fun.
Oh Hannah such a joy seeing the Halloween choices, Just an idea but see battersea power station has just opened. Cant get there myself yet perhaps you might consider toddling along one day. Certainly would respect your views.
I have done my M and S Christmas food order and I booked in the summer for Christmas afternoon tea at the Ritz. So no it is not too late for Christmas. Great to see Brent Cross shopping centre. Great video.

Hi, Hannah--Loved seeing all of the Halloween items in the UK, as I realize it's a relatively new thing over there. Here in the US, people start putting out inflatables on their lawns around the last week in September. Honestly, some homes look like theme parks! I prefer autumn decorations to Halloween-specific items because I can enjoy them all the way through to Christmas, and the colors are more varied than just the black and neon orange stuff. I write web copy for Target here, and there are literally HUNDREDS of Halloween items every year, but the new faves are dog and cat costumes! 🍁🍁🍂🍂🏠🏠🌹🌹😻😻

I love seeing Halloween items! I have a small collection of vintage Halloween. I love the scarf to go with your coat. I loved the skirts for your nieces. My granddaughter will be 5 soon & bought her a rainbow tulle skirt she loves dress up & rainbows lol I think you should film some Christmas early just so its quieter for you to do it while the shelves are stocked & am sure your life gets busy Nov/Dec less stress for you.
