Guy in the video is wrong. This Polish village was not originally German. Sułoszowa village is located far from the German border, in Małopolska region near Kraków which is in Southern Poland. This region of Poland was always Polish to the core. Even when western border of Poland looked different , Małopolska region with Kraków as a capital City, was always a core of Poland, place where kings were coronated. So I doubt that any German originally built this village.

I think that's kind of typical for Germans. One told me that Kraków was/is German as well so.

@@WilhelmEley You response may be hidden (idk) but I will response. We don't like each other as countries, we have some history WW1/2 etc. I would never say it's irrational. As for the "guy" presented in video. Yep totally you are right. My bad. My anecdote with Kraków still checks tho.
Btw. I have German friends, but we never talks politics. Just as I would not talk politics with Russians.

@@WilhelmEley Irrational ? Germans have killed 3 members of my family , i tell u better story , my friends were on trip in rural central France , they car broke, so they went to local pub (?) in the village near by, waiting for help. They are tall blondes , and they noticed local ppl looking at them with growing aversion, finally one of locals stood up and asked them where they were from. Polonise they answered. Ok keep drinking , we thought you r Germans. It happend few years ago. So not only Poles are "Irrational" as u claim.

This is similar to Quebec, Canada. In the 1600-1700’s they used the seigneurial system so that each settler/farmer had access to water. You can book scenic flights along the St. Lawrence River today between Ontario and Quebec and see the magnificent view of those long thin strips of land belonging to individual owners today. It’s amazing!

This is very typical of Poland and other countries that once were part of the Commonwealth. Farms were set up in the folwark system, so each house along the main road had a narrow stip of land they could farm.

Poland is such a beautiful country, The country has well preserved medieval castles and medieval cities and beautiful farming landscapes. Unfortunately, some Americans think that it's plagued with communist and socialist Russian buildings. But slowly, and surely, people are starting to see the truth.
