Hiya Andy.. yeah course I will put route maps on them to,make it easier 👍 The walk to the triple Buttress wasn't the conventional way , as I wanted to bag sail mhor so I'll show the route on the map which way I take. Thanks for leaving a comment Andy and many thanks for watching..... Thankyou Alan Gregory adventures 🌝🌝🌝🌝
Cheers Mike I have spent alot of time filming in Torridon so probably had good practice . It's not been all plane sailing with the drone especially in the windy conditions 😁 I agree the scenery is wonderful and different types of terrain. Thanks for watching Mike again always appreciated Cheers Alan Gregory Adventures 😁😁
Great video Alan, really enjoyed it. I like your narration, you clearly love the mountains and you can get that across in your commentary. I climbed the Liatach ridge the other week and can't wait to do the Beinn Eighe massif.
Thanks dave.. I can't keep away from Torridon.. it's like a magnet keeps pulling me back 😁. That climb was steep but worth it.cheers for watching ATB ALAN GREGORY 😄
I'm pleased the clag lifted for you once on the ridge Alan for those awesome views, looked ominous at first. Stunning place and glad I was able to see it for myself earlier in the year. Brilliant footage you captured. I recently found out there is wreckage of a Lancaster Bomber beneath the right hand buttress, wish I'd known when I was there, would have had a look. Amazing place thanks for sharing. Take care. Mick.
Thanks Mick it is a amazing place I enjoyed the whole walk even on the scree. I saw the rolls Royce engines, wings and wheels down in the bottom so very sad sight.Cheers again Mick and thanks again for watching ATB ALAN Adventures 👍👍😀😀😀
Brilliant again Alan a pity the weather was so wild for you but it's great seeing the hills in all weathers. I've added you to my featured channels so hopefully more folk can enjoy your videos, cheers for now 👍

Great video again Alan. It's a looong way round to the corrie as I remember, so to have that walk out after the fun of the climb must have been hard work. I think it took us 7 1/2 hrs just to walk to the corrie and back! :-) Looking forward to the next one. :-)
Thanks Don..yeah it was a very long day, After the corrie it seemed a age to get back😭😭 That 1st climb was the worst bit on the scree then not too bad after that. The return path back would of been the same one you used I persume 👍👍 Another memorable jolly and glad you enjoyed the video Don.. Thanks again for watching ATB ALAN GREGORY ADVENTURES.
Another great walk Alan :D Thanks for taking us along with you . That Corrie was just amazing maybe I should try to get to it someday , so I can see it for real :D I really like the way you chat to us in such a natural way it makes me feel almost like I am there with you :D Anyway thanks for posting and it gave me something great to watch while I had lunch, now I must get back to Xmas Decs :D Teddy
Thankyou and i hope you had a nice lunch 👍 it was another enjoyable day in Torridon and the triple butresses was the icing on the cake. I hope you can get to the butresses and see them for yourself and enjoy the beauty of them. As always thanks for commenting/watching ATB ALAN Adventures 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hiya Alan, congrats on another stimulating climb - this time in mega-scottish wind and weather (I worry about you slipping down the scree). BTW I couldn't follow this on my map: You say "Applecross" and Torridon, which are opposite the north end of Skye, but I could only find a Sail Mhor (2508 ft) further north on Little Loch Broom, the NW extension of the An Teallach massif. I looked for the three buttresses (I'm no use with these gaelic names) and couldn't find them at all. Maybe if you showed us a route map so that simpletons like me can follow better ;-) The drone shots of the Corrie were true Alan Gregory quality. All the best and take care, Paul
Hiya Paul sorry you couldn't follow this one 😘 Sail mhor is a satellite peak of Beinn Eighe-Ruadh-stac Mor If you google the triple buttresses Lancaster bomber crash you'll find it . It was the site of a horrific Crash in the 1950's .The plane flew into the buttresses (very sad) A lovely walk and it was the same Way up the scree slope I did when climbing Ruadh-stac Mor(Beinn Eighe) on a later video where i pointed Out... really appreciate you watching once again Paul Take care Alan Gregory Adventures
Brilliant video, I love Beinn Eighe, it is a pure joy. We found the bomber remnants too, very sad. Drone footage of the buttress was fab too. Wee link to the Lancaster story here too. heavywhalley.wordpress.com/2017/03/10/the-lancaster-crash-on-beinn-eighe-in-torridon/. Thanks again for taking us to a magical place.
