Loved your vlog - it looked like a wonderful holiday! This is the exactly my husband and my next trip to greece next year, with the addition of Monemvasia... and a tonne of ancient ruins and museums. Last year we visited Nafplio which was so lovely and I enjoyed seeing your footage as it reminded me of our trip. My husband watched it with me and we felt your pain the day before you left. Always so depressing leaving. More so for us as we are from Greece and used to live in Athens before migrating over to Sydney. x
Hi Kim! Ahhhh how exciting that you and your husband are going back for a holiday to Greece next year. Do you visit home often? It's funny you mention Monemvasia as that was originally on my itinerary as I was planning this trip, but we unfortunately didn't make it this time around. Nafplio was one of our favourite places that we visited as well as Limeni and Areopoli. So gorgeous! Oh, it was SO hard to leave. Normally I feel relatively okay when a trip has inevitably come to an end, but I felt SUCH a sense of dread leaving Greece as it felt so wonderful being there. The scenery, the food, the relaxed and friendly nature of the people, it was all paradise for us. ❤

"Everything gets wet" - it's amazing how many rooms I've stayed in since moving to Europe where this is the case. 🤣 It's amazing how different the light is in different locations. You really captured it well. I appreciated the outfit repetition. As someone who travels a lot, I am constantly wearing the same thing over and over and over again. It felt so relatable. As did your trip to Lidl. And the story about the baskets. It felt like you were right down the street because that's the way it is here, too. Yes! Even the fancier hotel we stayed in at the end had a similar setup (albeit more glamourous) in their bathroom. It just seems like such a silly design choice to me! No more overheated bike rides for me! I don't know what I was thinking. And yes, the outfit repetition is handy for keeping the luggage light and not thinking about what to wear all the time! The food was diviiiiiiiine. I miss it so much! And I'm still KICKING MYSELF for not purchasing some of the honey there while I had the chance. Well spotted! I wore the Sisley Chocolat liner and pink Surratt highlighter every day. ;) I also wore Sisley's Rose Mexico lipstick or Fenty's lipstick in Cookies and Cocoa. And my new favourite blush by Valentino in Roman Sky. ❤ Definitely found inspiration in some new salads! And I'm so glad to have documented this trip so I can hold onto the memories.
