I own the only currently documented running Dodge T-84 Diesel Engine (on RUclips). I am told there was a running truck in the now closed "Golden Age of Trucking Museum." My engine originated in a truck and was later used on a well to power a water pump. Last summer I was able to get my engine running, after having located a replacement Ex-Cell-O Injection pump. Congrats on the recovery. Y'all knocked it out of the park on effort, ingenuity, and perseverance. It's amazing that truck hadn't been destroyed by a brush fire sitting there for decades. Very cool.
Man that was a awesome rescue. I wish I lived closer to you I would have been in there like a dirty shirt . Keep the videos coming. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
I had a 42 pickup I just traded off recently. I am surprised how similar the frame of mine is to this heavier dutier version. Looks exactly the same just longer and with an X brace under the hitch plate.
i found one of these about 15 years ago, back in Western Mass/on Vermont state line. Owner was clearing his mother's property and i got to take a look at it, but no way to acquire it. Not sure what happened, he knew it was rare, but much involved in making it worthy or roadworthy. My darkest fears is that is got crushed, as he didn't seem interested in publicizing it or bothering to get it know to possible restorers. it was just the same as this, 1941 Diesel WK.

Knew this was coming. Had no idea it was 20 miles from me. Unbelievable rare truck
Been waiting for this video. I’m sure it only captures 10% of the actual sketchiness. Fun watch! Can’t wait to see more of it

That truck belongs to a collector in Michigan now. It was pretty rusted out. He is unsure if it is able to be saved
I could complain about the bad camera work😉, but, by golly that was a great save!
The locals watching the cab rolling down hill must've been nuts before they realized it was being pushed
Nice job, an interesting recovery for sure.
Coolest story ever
