- Kainani Stevens is back with Pete Prisco and Tony Boselli to call out some of the successes the Jaguars had in Week 5. The crew praises Quarterback Trevor Lawrence's ability to block out the noise and carry himself through all the highs and lows. Pete and Tony also analyze the defensive side of the ball and Travon Walker's stellar day. Stay tuned for some locks as we look ahead two London games for this Jaguars unit. When all healthy, Olukon and Miller are the off ball backers and I'm rotating Lloyd and Abdullah at Rush with long downs with Hines-Allen, Walker/Robertson-Harris, and Armstead/Otomewo on passing downs. Switch Savage and Cisco. Cisco is a down safety TE eraser. Brown, Darby, or Campbell can hold up at CB. Johnson will keep developing in time. Coach Nolewarchief got this D on 🔒. 😂
I like Johnson but he needs more time still. Help cisco by putting in Gipson after week 6. Hopefully Tyson is also back. Take Darby out for Brown. Miller needs to start next to Foye. Defense should be better but knowing our DC he will rotate to much so it doesn't matter.
Need to get Lloyd in more pass rush situations also in my opinion. Need to use that skill set of his to get more pressure.
@Jaxboy86 yeah I agree. Would give us a 3rd DE so armstead can play more DT for 3rd downs. Travon could also move sometimes inside.

Surprised but not surprised about the Ventrell Milller love. He’s made a lot of splash plays. Lloyd has been the more reliable player. This is how you know “I watched the tape” means “I tried to watch every guy at once”. Lloyd has had one bad game, vs Buffalo. Otherwise he’s been very good. Made several very good plays in the run game including the stuff on 3rd and goal. Difference is you’re not watching close enough to see him playing downhill, standing up blockers, and being in the right place in coverage. Miller has been a massive liability in the pass game. Now I think he’s shown a lot of promise, and the speed is legit, but the idea that he’s better than Devin right now is ridiculous. These guys have been way too hard on Lloyd. Had a very good year last year. Hell hes the 7th highest graded LB in the league this year per PFF.

What’s wrong with Cisco? He looks slow and is often out of position. Did he put on too much weight?
He's a box safety with size to bother TEs but he's used as a deep safety. DC still learning his personnel, no worries.
Cisco looks terrible indeed. Both our Safeties are way opposite of "Safe". 😅 I think our new D Coordinator needs to scheme them better too. We'll see if he adjusts after that 4th Quarter scare
