The one for SSX Blur looks like that because of Dolphin... but who really cares about Blur anyways!

Which is your favourite intro? For me it is really hard to choose. I like them all except Blur and On Tour.
I like the song for On Tour but the whole game is kinda eh. Blur is awful lol
I appreciate the creativity and versatility shown in all, but SSX3 is definitely my favorite. The visual concept for Blur is intriguing in theory, but in practice it hurts my eyes lol. (ETA: Just read the description lmao. So that wasn't intentional... explains a lot lol.)

It's 3 for me. It made it seem like an actual competition between pros and newbies. Everyone was oozing style too!
Where? Oozing style compared to Tricky?? Nah. This "intro" is more like a cringey commercial/game trailer.
@DelinquentDemon absolutely. The best Tricky could do was a few recolors on the same model (think "shirtless" Brodi and Kaori with "shorts,") and only the gamecube actually got the chrome suit right. 3 gave you choices to customize just about everything, moves, soundtrack, clothes, Ubertricks, etc.
The fact that you can customize stuff has nothing to do with attitude. Options=/=Cool 😂
Dj Atomika sucks. Rahzel was dope. The environments in Tricky were awesome. SSX3 were bland. There's just no debating that. SSX3 was unfinished and didn't live up to Tricky. I'm replaying 3 rn and it just makes me sad.
@DelinquentDemon you said style in your first post. SSX/Tricky is very much so a world tour competition, while 3 is you and other riders against a single mountain. Rahzel was good yes, but he's essentially rehashed from the first SSX with a few new lines. They gave Atomika almost an hour's worth of dialog to try and get the feel of a local radio broadcaster instead of a hype man.
SSX3 is just too badass I’m sorry😂 I think a lot of is just nostalgia too for any of us haha

Gotta go with Tricky. Always such a banger to listen to and the clips really compliments it.
SSX Tricky and SSX 3 will be my favorite intros of all time in the series.
Ssx 3 is just good, the details of the intro is just amazing but I prefer ssx tricky because their designs fits their personalities and the music is my #1 song on my playlists
SSX Tricky is iconic but SSX 3 was way better when it came to the fluidity of the movement and tricks. SSX 3 intro gets you hyped up too.
Trick improvements are the Only thing 3 got right. Everything else, and I mean everything, was a complete downgrade from Tricky.
SSX: The proving grounds. Doing it big, and loud with LOTS of style!
SSX Tricky: Bigger, Louder, and with a pocket full of roosters! Personality and style out the wazoo for this world tour!
SSX 3: ramping up the speed, smoothing out the edges, and toning down some the wackiness for and absolutely amazing boarding experience! Your mountain, your way, top to bottom.
What an awesome trilogy!

SSX 2025: Not a single white rider, and only 2 of the riders are straight (they're disliked by all the other riders), the menus are all pink and the music is only shitty Top 20 hits from current year. And DJ Atomika reprises his role 😂 can't wait for that
I liked how JP in the first SSX always switched from speaking French and English.

EA needs to bring the SSX series back.
But with splitscreen. I feel them leaving it out of the last game kinda hindered the franchise.

@@Daniel_Plummer some of them had a splitscreen, I tested mine with both of my ps4 controllers and i use pcsx2 to play ssx tricky splitscreen but sadly its not online and only 2 players splitscreen :(
@@lucassinclair8885 Online would be Fun. But I meant the last game SSX didn't have splitscreen. I remember playing split on Tricky & SSX3

I love the humble beginnings with the first SSX game. They are all outstanding snowboarders! I could imagine everyone's reaction when they can do so much with their feet OFF of the boards in mid-air!
Ssx 2000 i was there when it started my future would never be the same i love it till this day. Shouts out tricky for giving us psymon 3 for everything and on tour as well for everything being so good. I wish they never left jurgen and hiro out such unique riders

I played Tricky, 3 and On Tour. 3 is by far my favorite intro/game... but honestly... I don't remember On Tour at all, not a single course.
I love how each game had its own vibes and aesthetics to them especially the 3rd game were it had a possitive emotional aura to it

I’ll give SSX Blur one thing, they kept the SSX veterans, and brought back JP and it took place back on the fictional mountain which is present in SSX 3.
The original will always be my favorite 😊🩷
On Tour is sick
I really like SSX3 and SSX(2012) for the graphics and how you have to dress or change gear depending on what mountain you were going down. Never played “on tour” or “tricky” I gotta try those don’t feel like I need to try the original one lol
Tricky and On Tour is 100% worth trying out. As far as the first game goes I still think it has its charm and I have come to like it more as time passed. That said the controls are a lot stiffer and it is hard getting used to that. I found that step to be hard, even going from tricky to OG as a child. Going from 3 or 2012 to OG is not something I would reccommend without doing Tricky first.

Tricky just had it in the bag. all the other games intros are so slow and they drag and they get weird and gimmicky as the games go. it's a shame, the orignal and Tricky were special.
Especially 3, it sounds like a boring infomercial. Tricky was EPIC, idk why everyone simps for 3 when it was comparably the most boring and unfinished of any SSX title.

My ideal next SSX game is basically be a 4K remaster of SSX 3 (an updated Big Mountain) and the Tricky courses included as well.
And most of the characters from 1, Tricky, and 3 (but NO Luther please. And maybe Tane INSTEAD of Brodi.)

Tricky hands down the 1st... Then on tour, simply because you could make your own character and run it down with some of the classic characters (and had the best 06' BGM). Never played the others, but to be true, I didn't really like the intros.
My TOP 3 always will be
*1) SSX 3, 2) SSX Tricky and 3) SSX 2012*
One thing really ticked me off tho. Patagonia is GRAVITY Deadly Descent and Alaska is AVALANCHE Deadly Descent! 😂😂😂

Blur was the worst game in terms of controls but I think it was aesthetically better than On Tour.
On Tour LOOKED the worst (but it wasn't a bad game).
