Oh my god I watched this right after watching her American Idol audition and the physical and behavioral contrast… she was so cheery, upbeat, and lighthearted at 21, and she seems jaded here, almost.. depressed. Also she is unrecognizable
It makes me sad watching her interviews for this album and it’s such a beautiful album❤

Nobody buys that she didn't at the very least have lip injections (and you can't blame that on her accident either) The truth is she is a woman who is rapidly approaching middle age in a business that puts a premium on youth and beauty. Adding injections to her already gorgeous lips was not from her accident. Fillers in her cheeks was not a result of her accident. Botox injections to a point of making her face stone stiff was not because of her accident. She has no expression to her face because it can’t move. I’m sure it was all recommended to her by her team, but she was stunning without it. Still gorgeous, but not the same.
I think fortunately, the work Carrie has had done on her face, independent of her accident, is not too far past the point of no return- it looks like mainly the lips. I really REALLY hope she is able to stop and accept herself even if it means a perceived or real loss for her. She is one of the most talented and perfect looking humans we know, but I also know we cannot imagine the pressure she is under in her industry, as image is a real part of their career. I think especially for someone like her who is always doing things to improve their health and image in other ways, it might make one question where to draw the line. In my humble opinion, this is the line, and I hope she does not go further, but regardless, I am sure fans will still love her anyway! Take care, Carrie! We love you.

@AShorty88 I think she did have an accident, however she clearly has had other stuff done. Nothing wrong with that. I speculate a very slight nose job yrs ago. I speculate a ponytail face lift more recently along with the normal botox and such.
@@bookgirl8 she had stitches on her top lip from the accident. It didn’t require that she gets fillers on her top and bottom lips. Her lips are now way bigger than they are naturally.

@@goldilox3147 In '05 she was 22. Now she is closing in on 40. A large part of her changing appearance can be attributed to normal aging. She definitely did get lip injections at some point though. You can really see it in the video for How Great Thou Art from her gospel album last year. She looked like a puffer fish

Well,she has been preparing for this tour for months and she is a mom of two young boys not to mention she seems pretty stressed so of course she’s not going to be peppy if she’s been busy with tour preparations and a mom of two active young boys.

Tbh I don’t think it was how she responded as much as she just has a frozen face from the Botox. I’m all about ppl doing what they want to do but it doesn’t make me sad because she naturally is so pretty without all the extra work!
I think that’s because she is so consumed with her looks that she was probably judging the picture. I never seen an interview where Carrie seemed nice. She always looks annoyed

She is beautiful with a beautiful voice to match. This video does make her seem like a “ diva.” I believe you can be famous without being a diva. She’s right, what she does might not be “ normal” but the way she says it sounds a little arrogant. She has a gift yes, but she is no more special than anyone else in the Lords eyes.

She does look different even without plastic surgery because she is almost 40 so her look is naturally going to change with or without fillers. I think we just want to keep that young girl from American Idol around and it’s not possible. Her aging reminds us that we are aging too.

HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY CARRIE UNDERWOOD !!!!
Look at Carrie in the photo from her and the reporter during her American idol days. And any of her music videos-she 1,000% has had lip injections and when she used to smile-her eyes smiled. Her whole face smiled and lit up. Now her lips are way fuller and her smile doesn’t reach her eyes-her face pretty much stays still when she smiles. I miss her natural beauty. She has amazing legs and works out and is very healthy which I admire. She looks physically stunning-but her face is not natural. I am a huge fan and respect her art and her craft. I just wish she had stayed naturally pretty and not done fillers and injections as so many artists and celebs are doing these days. She has a scar above her lip but no one would judge her for a dang scar that happened from injury. Just be naturally beautiful and let the scars tell a story. I blame Hollywood and media for people feeling they have to alter their appearance to be “pretty” when they just look fake and overdone.
Carrie has an incredible voice and that’s what should count the most. I miss her small town vibe.

She had an accident where she fell on her face, had multiple fractures, stitches, luckily she had just put her kid down, but she was pregnant at the time, and had to cancel some dates of her tour,

Well,I would be tired if I was getting ready for a 43 city tour and I had a busy life with two little kids while juggling her career and a home life,so I think she has a right to be tired given how full her plate really is.I think it’s mostly tiredness,not lack of excitement.

Man I really feel for her husband. I am in a similar situation where I do most of the child care so my wife never needs to miss work even though I have a business to run and make money too. Most women will just keep taking until there is nothing left to take. He needs to divorce her and get on with his life; she clearly doesn’t want to be home with him. Maybe she is staying away hoping he will do it for her.
