If you are from any private school, trust me if you don't do or learn a single thing you will either get 30/30 or worst case 29/30. I studied everything about anion analysis and cation analysis and entered the lab, but while they were handing us the salt, our teacher came and individually told us the name of our salt and functional group and we just had to write the steps which we are allowed to ask our friends and discuss. In the viva we were only asked the group number of the salt so bas utna karlena and don't take tension about practicals even if you haven't studied anything but ofc it's best to be prepared just in case. Also if you are from KV, then u hv to study a lot for practicals, other schools like DPS, AMITY, etc are chill so relax...

Ma'am if u were to upload the notes u'd written on paper, things would be more convenient since we need to learn all the outcomes and the steps to attain those in an exam. I do own a practical file but the order of the experiments is not in sequence and it's pretty much hard to understand

Thanks mam for the video. Earlier, I was clueless about what to do as I couldn't understand literally anything in the practical classes of school. But your videos makes every step of practical quite clear and yeah, earlier I was afraid of "practical chemistry". Now I made a plan to complete the chapter of practical a day before that chapter of practical happens which would make me rock in the class. Let's see how this plan goes. THANKS, earlier I was confused if someone on RUclips can help me with Practical or not but you've proved me wrong... IN THE LAST PRACTICAL TEST, I SCORED 19/30 [actually 24 because 5 marks was deducted for not bringing my own lab coat]. THIS TIME I AM AIMING TO SCORE MORE IN IT.

Mam , do we need to make the sodium carbonate extract for the test of sulphate/phosphate or we can do that by O.S.?
Ma'am ive heard that they do not give coloured salts for board practicals, is this true?
Also there are many confirmatory tests for a single anion or cation how many do i need to write in the observation table in my answer sheet?

Ma'am today was my prac so Mera nh4 mein white fumes aa rahe the HCl dipped glass rod ko test tube ke muh pe jab rakha but confirmatory that is nessler voh nahi aya but then zinc aya mera so is it feasible?

Mam I tested first with Dil HCl I got no smell then I tried conc.h2so4 still nothing when I heated it brown vapours emerged but the moment I added a paper ball the soln turned black . Then i tested for sulphate ppt banre the but mam said they have not given me sulphate ... I'm really confused what it is it was a white crystalline salt...
I added very little amounts of Dil HCl as well as conc h2so4 is that the problem??
It was soluble in water insoluble in Dil.hcl
