Yesterday was my practical, I got Pb(NO3)2 . Could easily identify it as I'd gone through all of your videos. For the batch 2020-21 where practicals were done so hastily, your channel was a life saviour! Thanks a lot ma'am!
Now I understood why my Brown ring never formed properly you told even minor mistakes ppl can make doing such experiments. A heartly thanks to you Ma'am, thankfully found your channel before my practicals.
Such a CRYSTAL CLEAR EXPERIMENT THANKUU SO MUCH MAM FOR THIS ....I just read this thing in book but never seen in real life ....but now I think chemistry goes beyond when you accomdate with its practical life .👍
I was always confused why am I getting a white ppt on adding FeSO4 despite of nitrate being indicated. This video cleared all doubts. Thankyou so much ma’am ❤️
Thanks Seema! You explained everything very clearly. We also love testing for lead by producing lead iodide. We are looking forward to more of your chemistry videos.
Our school chemistry lab don't even have required chemicals, tools, test tubes, and good teachers. We never got to perform any practicals. Don't know what we we would do in practical exams.
please ma'am teach qualitative analysis of unknown inorganic mixture ( in presence of each other "two or three positive and negative ion presence in one mixture " )
Thankyou mam! Was doing the same salt analysis yesterday and was wondering why my soln precipitated on adding FeSO4...I kept thinking id mixed droppers or something, whenit was really just PbSO4..ultimately ended up messing up the test...will keep in mind next time..
mam, please help me.... i understood and did all the things as u said mam.. but after i let the PPT settle for the 5th group nitrates, so when i added conc. H2SO4 a new white ppt appears and no ring appears, i tried everything mam, not even 1, V group nitrate salt i get a brown ring mam..... pls help me mam....
Mam i have a doubt. Lead nitrate upon upon adding conc h2so4 should make pbso4 which is a precipitate. But your test tube was clear...it indicated no formation of a precipitate..please clarify
Now I understand........my school teacher dose not have patience......... Thankyou mam
Lol 😆
Same here mate
Same here tommorow is my practical i am watching today our chem school teacher speaks so fast that we can't understand

Do we have to find the salt? I mean in my manual mostly all salts are crystalline and white..

We can do it without sodium carbonate extract????

Mam , can we prepare the fresh FeSo4 by reacting iron chips with conc.h2so4 ?
No
Just make the aqueous solution of FeSO4 salt to be used with in 1to 2 hours
Thank You Mam.
Thank you so much mam 🙏🏻
If we can get the brown ring this way, then why do we make Na2CO3 extract todo the brown ring test ??
To remove the cation as ppt so that anion nitrate can be tested easily

ma'am could you please link the video for nitrate test of other groups?
Mam when I am adding dilute orconc h2so4 it is forming white insoluble
We can use copper pieces mam
Yes
Can we use filter paper instead of dropper??
Coz it will save much time
Can you pls reply maam?

Ma'am , we can do the same thing by using Sodium carbonate extract of the salt and adding acetic acid followed by FeSO4 and conc H2SO4.
