    Yesterday was my practical, I got Pb(NO3)2 . Could easily identify it as I'd gone through all of your videos. For the batch 2020-21 where practicals were done so hastily, your channel was a life saviour! Thanks a lot ma'am!

    Our school chemistry lab don't even have required chemicals,tools,test tubes,and good teachers. We never got to perform any practicals. Don't know what we we would do in practical exams.

    Thankyou mam! Was doing the same salt analysis yesterday and was wondering why my soln precipitated on adding FeSO4...I kept thinking id mixed droppers or something, whenit was really just PbSO4..ultimately ended up messing up the test...will keep in mind next time..

    mam, please help me.... i understood and did all the things as u said mam.. but after i let the PPT settle for the 5th group nitrates, so when i added conc. H2SO4 a new white ppt appears and no ring appears, i tried everything mam, not even 1, V group nitrate salt i get a brown ring mam..... pls help me mam....

    And mam in my lab my mam does not give me distilled water ahe tell to use tap water so whether brown ring will form from it or not.

      Just make the aqueous solution of FeSO4 salt to be used with in 1to 2 hours

    Mam i have a doubt.
    Lead nitrate upon upon adding conc h2so4 should make pbso4 which is a precipitate. But your test tube was clear...it indicated no formation of a precipitate..please clarify

    Ma'am , we can do the same thing by using Sodium carbonate extract of the salt and adding acetic acid followed by FeSO4 and conc H2SO4.
