"The CCA Downriver Race has been held every year since 1956, making it the Nation’s oldest consecutively run canoe and kayak race...Celebrate the Nation’s longest consecutively-run paddling race in the nation! Since 1956 we have raced the 7.5 mile whitewater stretch from just below Great Falls to Sycamore Island and would love to have you join us this year for another unforgettable event." - www.canoecruisers.org/
The race organization was as top notch as it gets, to the likes of "Red Mo," and just like with the Seneca Showdown and Little D on the Monocacy races, the delicious post race lunch added to the camaraderie, making the great time even better, with new friends being made. This race brings out the paddling community like no other, from the plethora of generosity of the volunteers to having all the hallmarks of a true big boy's race, in bringing out top tier competition to the level seen at the Cheat River Festival's Rick Gusic’s Cheat River Massacre-ence race and that of the notable championship series races. This race should be considered for one of the races of the Immersion Research Headwaters Racing Series, as it is par for the course in falling in line with the nature of the four races of the series.

thanks. I hope to make that rapid even easier in the future and hope to be doing so for years. If you ever come local give a yell and I can show how to go up it and down the most effective way.

I don't SUP and don't know any guides but do know one SUPer who is good but switched to kayaking. I'll text him about it. check out Baltimore Canoe and Kayak Club on facebook. I remember at least one real good person but they seemed to have backed off. I'll post again soon on it.
