First of all, if you are using heat shrink that has glue you are using Marine heat shrink, and it's waterproof, that's why it's called Marine. Regular old heat shrink doesn't contain glue. Harbor Freight sells a variety bag of heat shrink in many colors and sizes real cheap. I don't use it on vehicles and wiring that is critical but for something like this is works well. The battery isn't a 1620, it's a 2016. It would have been helpful to provide a link to the lights you are using. Just wanted to clarify this to help others that may watch this video. Thanks

CR1620? think you meant to say CR2016, and you mentioned not to get the water proof shrink tube, huh i thought all of them were waterproof by nature, but you never demonstrated why not get those ones? are they too brittle after heating or set to hard to pull the battery out you said? never seen glue come out of mine though? ty for sharing ,why don't you have a look at my homemade light in the dark floater vids i don't think there is anything like it on the internet that ive seen only ppl using glow in dark light sticks but mine uses led and easy to make(kinda) please check it out and let me know what ya think
