I used some of the BookShark Language Arts with one of my kids. Due to dyslexia he was taking a while to get to that fluent reading stage. He had the foundational knowledge but needed more practice reading and less drill. He knew the rules. The Book Shark Language Arts program turned out to be the perfect bridge he needed to build that fluency and confidence. I still have the program in case my youngest needs it for the same reason. If she doesn’t, the books are still fantastic to just read on her own.
We're trying some Sonlight this year. If it's too much structure and too many books in a year, I still bought a lot of good books that we can use without the guide.🙂 Thanks for this video. It's helpful.

We only use the hands on history part but my kids love it.
