Don’t forget to disconnect the R10 Fuel Pump Fuse, try to start car for 5 seconds to release the fuel pressure, and then disconnect the battery before you work on the fuel sending unit
Other than that, remember you want half a tank of gas or less, otherwise it’ll overflow when removing the old unit.

I’m confused!! The filter was never replaced, just the pump container. Can you please explain?
Yes it was replaced, the filter is part of the fuel pump housing

Z979 , but check with your local automotive shop that its the same.
So the housing itself is the filter
Screw this I would just replace the whole pump save time

@@soepicgames yes that's the regulator. Ideally you'd replace all the rubber o-rings and the plastic top locking ring also
so wheres the filter? it looks like you change the fuel pump assembly not filter
