      I know this treatment doesn't need local anesthesia and the patient can tell the dermatologist when the heat is uncomfortable but if the patient falls asleep because the treatment is very relaxing, is there a risk of burning since they are unable to tell when they feel too hot?@@AglaiaEstheticsTraining

    Yes, it’s great to be thorough with the use of your RF machine because it
    helps boost collagen levels within the skin. RF machines get that done by
    heating the lower layers of the skin without even touching the outer
    epidermis. It sounds safe on paper, but not everything is safe in large quantities.
    Let me know if you have any questions. Maria XO

    Hello Maria! Thank you for putting out these tutorials... you are making home treatments more safe! Quick question about fillers/Botox and RF. Is there any interferences with RF and filler/Botox? Should these treatments be spaced apart or should areas where filler/Botox are be avoided? Does the heat from RF degrade fillers/Botox or move it around? Thank you for your expert advice!

    • @AglaiaEstheticsTraining
      @AglaiaEstheticsTraining  3 года назад +8

      If you have Botox or filler‘s, don’t do radio frequency for at least 48 hours... and be very careful not to have the intensity to high or using it too frequently, take a moment and watch the whole procedure, I have three different tutorials one for the face, one for the neck and also one on mistakes. I hope you enjoy them. Maria xx

      Hello Paola, I’m happy that you found me :-) every week I do different tutorials from beauty to health and wellness. To answer your question microcurrent it’s an amazing machine if it’s done properly and if you do it once a week with facial muscle exercising you will see amazing results. However, radio frequency in my opinion is dangerous if it’s not done correctly and for what reason you’re using it. If it’s for fat reduction, be very careful not to do it where it could age you, however you can do it more often. If you’re doing it for affirming you should not do it too often. I find that most people do it too often, removing the lower fat in the face and in the long run causing aging. You do need to check the protocol of your machine, do some research that you don’t do it too often. If you have any further questions let me know. Maria

    Hello - grateful for the information you provide. I have a new device and have been proceeding with caution and I love it. Can RF be used on a friend with forearm skin that is beginning to thin due to sun damage (golfer)? No tears but some very slight bruising. No medical conditions. Local esthetician suggested eurothreading or Radiesse. Backs of hands?

      Different machines have different protocols but again I would not do it too often. Once or twice a month is sufficient and I would also include once a month with microneedling you do not want to overstimulate your skin. To rejuvenate the skin I would also take liquid collagen. I do have several tutorials in that subject. Enjoy.

    Hi Maria, I do commercial RF like EMATRIX and FORMA. I've done 1 full face treatment every 6 months for the last 3 years. Can I continue getting a treatment every 6 months or will it become too much? So far, I've had no irritation or complications and continue to see results. I will avoid the RF/microneedling combos as you suggest. Thank you for your help. I've found no one else on you tube who gives such good medical details about RF.

    hi Maria. Love the video. I do micro needling once a month. How far apart do you suggest doing a micro needle treatment and an rf treatment. should they be on alternate months? Also, Do you think micro current is useful? Im trying to decide if I should go with micro current or RF. I'm worried about fat loss. I have a slim face. I too am Canadian. TIA for all information.

    • @AglaiaEstheticsTraining
      @AglaiaEstheticsTraining  3 года назад +2

      First of all I need to know how old you are. And thank you for liking my videos I really appreciate that. Everything needs to be done in moderation. And every machine has its own function. The micro needling will stimulate the fibroblast, and of course depending of the length of the needle that will depend how often you can do it. The radio frequency will also stimulate the fibre blast in a different modality. The only time that it will melt the fat if you do it too long or too often. The microcurrent will work on your muscles. I also advise facial muscle exercising to be done every night or second night. Just 10 minutes. Let me know if this answers your questions. And my apologies for not getting back to you sooner. Maria

      Hello Teresa, you are very welcome. Thank you for your comments and your support. Both modalities stimulate the fibroblast in the skin and intern the collagen is rejuvenated and strengthened. What I have found is that most individuals over treat the skin bye doing it high intensity, frequency, and length.
      In my opinion, I advised not to do both at the same time and to leave enough time between treatments and modality. Let me know if you have any further questions leave me comments below. Maria

I just want to ask, when you say the at home RF machines are not as strong as the ones in office, do you mean results wont be optimum or do you mean because it is an at home machine, it needs to be used more frequently (once a month) than an in office to achieve same results?
