    If I leave the house for 5 minutes, when I return my 5 Pugs make such fuss that I try (unsuccessfully) to sneak out without their seeing I am leaving. I have had 17 pugs in the last 40 years, all but 2 were rescues or adoptions. My life would be unimaginable without them. I am never lonely or sad when I am with them. I talk with them all day and I recognize their grunts. They sleep with me and snore all night. My adult son calls them "the children." And they are. And if I see another pug in need, anywhere, I will adopt him or her. Fawn or black.

    Mine just go more crazier than this cutie, tucks his tail in and runs like crazy around the whole room with tiny barks n back, scratches me n tries to take little bite (with love).

      Oh! Mine does the same thing when she runs around because she's happy I'm home! She runs through the house, her tail tucked in, but she actually has her butt low to the ground. Lower than when she's just walking or even running around just for fun. It's so funny! I wondered if it was just her or if it was a pug thing.

    • @Sphynxle
      @Sphynxle 6 лет назад +1

      S A D - E G G they really are!! I mean, they’re definitely couch potatoes (mine has literally left my bed once all day to go outside), but they’re also easily super excited! Mine will do what I call her “butt scoot” where she’ll run in circles with her butt almost touching the ground. It’s hilarious.

      I know a lot of people who cal it that! It apparently is just a pug thing. They’re such special little dogs. I’ve been sick this weekend and mine has barely left my side. And when my depression kicks in, she does funny little antics to cheer me up.

      Dumb? Whaaaaat? Ok, maybe if you compare them to a different breed known for their smarts. I think my black pug, Ripley is very smart though. And ever since I took on my mom's Chinese Crested, Ripley is a freaking GENIUS by comparison. HAHA! She's way cuter too. :-)

    Frank is so funny . Pugs are great pals. I had a pug named Gus . When i would get home from work, i would feed him and then i would sit with a bowl of corn flakes & watch the news. He would without fail , sneeze into my bowl or on my plate . I think he thought by doing this , i would hand it over to him. When i didn't , he would go to plan B. Sit and give you the sad eyes until he breaks your will. I'm sure Frank has done this to you. All i can say is , your so lucky.

    11 years ago, I didn't think much of pugs. I never understood their appeal or why people kept breeding dogs that had no muzzles. Then my friend, who I've known most of my life, her sister adopted Bandit, a fawn colored pug that wasn't up to breed standards. The moment that dog came into our lives, it was like... I get it. Like how people say "you'll understand the joys of having kids when they're yours", same with pugs. That dog changed my entire outlook on the breed and made my life all the richer.
    Sadly, he died earlier this year, but I know we gave him a good life just as he did for us.
