The ending was sweet. Earlier the father talked about how he saw his daughter as a fighter and that scene of him looking up proudly at his daughter as she signaled the helicopter was everything. 😭
I just watched this last night! I read some article that said that it ended so abruptly because it was so fast paced for so long the director didn’t want an artificial “cool down” for the audience? He wanted them to stay in the mood/cool down at their own pace. While I totally get it... they could’ve pulled that with a marvel-style post credit where we see the dad cheering Haley on at a meet. Since the father-daughter apex predator stuff was corny enough, why not go all the way? Also my friends and I had a full on argument about the baby gators and why they were there. Why bother building it up if the mama is gonna get taken down in 2 minutes like a red shirt on Star Trek??

I'm at a red light and look at the bus stop and it says "Danger, Alligators" which kinda freaked me out a bit (this was like 20 feet from a huge highway) until I saw in big red letters, "CRAWL" and I just just dumbfounded that they literally hired someone to put posters in the middle of nowhere.
The movie definitely had me on the edge of my seat paranoid but like... Nothing really happened in it... Like it was good but after it I felt like I watched a whole lotta nothing
It's a crawlspace, dumbass. Basements offer much more room than what we all seen in this movie. Also, there aren't any drainage pipes leading in or out of basements big enough for alligators to make their way through.
