the "when you take on the responsibility, great power will come" line kills me, because like it was so easy to make it the original line and have her say it to uncle ben to be like "see this is where he got it from" but like they were just like nah just say whatever

This was one of the best times I've had in theaters. No joke. Obviously terrible movie but our audience was absolutely dying at everything and one dude stood up and clapped at the end.
People are so cringe now a days. They want movies that are Oscar worthy only and that sucks. I had so much fun at the theatre. I was laughing so hard
I had the same experience in 2000 in Manchester,uk with unbreakable. The scene where his son is about to blubber at the dinner table had everyone burst into laughter. It was wild - it’s the only time I’ve ever been in a cinema where everyone suddenly realised they were watching shit & lost it.
tbh that’s the whole point of this film. it’s bad on purpose. people don’t know how to have fun now

I think 90 percent of Dakota Johnson interviews are deliberate performance art pieces of her trying to sound like the most clueless interviewee ever, with a secondary goal of being so cringe, the clips are memeable. Because once in a while, she does an interview where she makes perfect sense, and you start to wonder where "dumb Dakota" ends and "smart Dakota" begins. 😆

this movie is so funny. every time the villain talked i was laughing so hard. the dubbing was so bad. also, thanks for mentioning tahar rahim's film "the prophet". he's not a bad actor (he's actually really good), but this role was horrible. i recommend watching "the serpent" he was amazing there too.

I like how she kept stealing vehicles. Great callback to the old Captain America movie where he kept stealing vehicles. To be fair though, he did have to go to Italy to fight the Italian Red Skull who was researching skulls in Italy with his father before he Catchered In The Rye'd.
I have to defend this movie. When I fell asleep, no one woke me. So it is not woke. Even though I left before the ending, I had seen enough to speak to the quality of the entire movie. And it is a movie. And Sydney Sweeny does wear the Spider suit. So all is good. On a scale of 1 - 1 I would defiantly give a score of 1.
Let’s be real: this is only #1 on Netflix because people wanted to see if it was actually THAT bad. Spoiler: it is.

7:28 I can't help but to suspect that THAT scene was where she was supposed to put two and two together and say the trailer line... which would explain a lot... seeing as the girls feed her up the connections between spiders and the dude... which reignites her memory of seeing him somewhere before... and then abandoning them in order to get to her place before he or the cops could there first... the urgency overruling her desire to keep them safe...

This movie did make me cry. Why was it so weird at the end? She just started acting like a different character. Also why was his name Santiago if he's from some reclusive Amazonian tribe.
Not gonna lie. The first time I busted out laughing during the movie was when the Aranya guy dropped down from the tree and started speaking perfect English without even an accent.
This film proves that no, 50S wasn't a fluke, Dakota Johnson just can't act.

This movie was literally one of the most incompetent "big studio" productions I've ever seen in my entire life and I love it for how bad it is. Easily a -10 out of 10. Even better than The Rise of Skywalker in how bad it is.
As for the visions, they explain that the nightmares Ezekiel had was the "spider curse" and that they were never true visions. The spider was basically just trolling him.
I was falling asleep and the Tim Allen grunt woke me up laughing. Amazing video!
Imagine being in 50 Shades of Grey and thinking, "OK, well at least that was popular amongst some," getting to be in the amazing Suspiria remake, thinking that starring in terrible movies is a thing that is now behind you, and then your agent casts you in this movie. No wonder she fired her agent...

This project could have worked much better as a series. This film condensed could have been the first episode or two and then do 4 more episodes exploring the backstory of the girls while they get their abilities, train, and bring some much needed action to this project. Save Cassie’s disability for later.

Sony has really dropped the ball. If they had done the Terminator plot, followed Madam Web trying to save Peter’s parents ended with the patents dying because there was no way to save them and Peter being give Uncle Ben and Aunt May at the end.
Honestly - the worst part about "Madame Web" is the fact that the costume designs for our merry band of cute spider girls are actually really good - so it's a shame that we won't get to see them in a much-improved sequel! ❤🤍

His vision does actually come true. They trick you because he was actually seeing two visions at once. He was seeing his death and he was also seeing the girls be heroes. Which also messed with his head and that's why he was so helped on murdering them.

Bro you're losin me. Morbius was a great movie. One of, if not one of, the movies. All jokes aside, Morbius only resonated with me because the way Morbius flies in his movie is exactly how I fly in my dreams. I glide across my imagination, so to speak. Just like how Morbius glides over vampire-ghosty thermals.
In my opinion, this movie is bad, but not as bad as I thought it would be. (Although it is better than Morbius).
What I dont understand is, theatre nerds are somehow also all marvel nerds , and all of them have always dreamed of being in a marvel movie. Also blink twice if you need help.

This was a good movie.
There legitimately is parts when characters mouths dont move with the dialogue. This movie is a joke for a production company of sony’s size. They simply made this to keep their live action right on the spiderman IP. Its lame and tasteless corporate nonsense just so they can keep making more money.
